I'm sorry I missed who said they use to come on this thread to laugh at John but now feel enraged at the lives he has ruined. 

But same. So much same. This use to be my laugh at the stupid white missionary but now I am seeing the lives he is trying to destroy and the incredible waste of money that could be helping people that John is using and I feel sad, angry and powerless. I wish we could do something to stop him. Any ideas?

Has anyone made a cheat sheet on all the people that John has cheated/exploited in Zambia. I'm finding it hard to keep up!

Seriously this needs to happen asap. I am horrible with technology but I'd be more than happy to present a synopsis of "John knowledge" of my own for anyone who can take on the task.

Thanking God for the help of Pastor Ackim Mulaisho in applying for a visa for Bro. Theophil. It is so hard being so far away from them. I got up at 5 am Friday, left Kalalushi around 10, as a made it home to Kafue at 9 pm that night (there were several delays in Ndola, Kabwe, and a terrible traffic mess in the Capitol. Still a very very long trip though.

Thanks so much for your faithful prayers for us and the two church plants and continuing evangelism outreaches here in Kafue and surrounding areas, Mulamba Village in Rufunsa District, the villages in Luangwa District, and whatever God opens the door.

 

Who is Bro. Theophil? I don't remember him. It sounds like John is worried Bridgette is going to jump ship now that she isn't close enough for him to manipulate on a regular basis. Does anyone else find it weird that he said it is hard being so far away from them like this is a woman he is super close to? He barely knew her husband, yet he is acting like it is breaking his heart not to see this woman daily.

Could be that John struggles with lust, but I think he mentioned those sins before he ever met the sainted Michael or his wife.

Lusaka is the CapitAl city John. You complete ignoramus. There isn't a complete traffic mess, it's called Rush hour. Most CapitAl city's have them. The Zambian government is well aware of the problem and are desperately trying to sort it. If John was in the slightest bit interested in the country he lives in he would know that. Sorry, feeling ragey. I know that Zambian folk are good hearted, hard working and sadly hard-up.  John is so totally selfish, it's unimaginable. I have worked in different Jobs in different city's, and been fortunate enough to to be able to travel to throughout Africa.  John is a huge great carbuncle stuck in Zambia.

I did at one point, but darned if I can find it again.  It is a couple of threads ago.

Here's an updated version from memory.  As always corrections and additions are welcome.  I know I missed some people.

Dramatis Personae in the Shrader Saga

Team Zambia:  Originally consisted of Shrader, David Rea, and Cindy ?  The original Sending Church was Valley Baptist in WA.   Shrader split with Valley Baptist and Rea approximately 6 months after landfall in Zambia.   Rea is now almost as appalling a "missionary" as John in Lusaka. Cindy is still raising funds, I think.

Burundi Debacle People:  Two weeks in Burundi resulted in John and David taking advantage of Eddie, Arnaud, sundry unidentified women and Arcade  (see below)

The Ones Who Escaped: 

Arcade:  Burundian.  Orphaned in the genocide.  He followed John to Kafue.  John fucked him over by promising to help him with immigration status when he couldn't. Probably because John's Bible Institute was fake.  John now trashes him every chance he can get.  He was supposed to plant a church back in Burundi.  Now back in Burundi not planting churches, poor guy.

Jolis (Jolisman):  Burundian.  Friend of Arcade.  Survived an attempted beheading in the genocide.  Also probably fucked over by John re. immigration and his reputation trashed.  Possibly now in Tanzania with refugee status.

Roderick and his wife Jacqueline:  John married them.  Roderick was one of John's first converts, his main translator, co-preacher, chicken carer and general right hand man.  Roderick gave up a good job offer to be discipled by John.  Roderick's brother in law is Phellion (yet to escape, see below.)

Handia:  All around good guy and friend of Roderick.  Student. Has spoken out openly against John.  Handia.

Boyd:  AKA Black Bull (yes, really).  Left with Roderick.

Eugene:  Married to Precious.  John tried to interfere with their divorce.  Eugene is long gone.

Mrs and Mrs Phiri:  She was Esther's first midwife.  He was in John's Bible Institute.  Long gone.

Bro. Kennedy:  Much mentioned in the first 6 months. Went off to pastor a chuch in Lusaka.  Never heard of again.

Dead People:  (included because they have escaped.)

Victor:  Made Bible covers.

Michael:  The saint.  Escaped Hell by 41 days.  Married to Bridgitte who is running as fast as she can away from John.

Status Unknown (but probably escaped because John wept that he lost everyone.)

Precious (but who cares because she is a woman), Titus, Emmanuel, George, Whyte, Percy (and a few others).

Enablers Still Hanging Around

Bro. Phellion:  The church plant in Mulamba Village.

Bro. Douglas:  Pastor in Zambia.  Was in Burundi with Rea and Shrader and occasionally likes a FB post by John.

Bro. Ackim Mulaisho:  Pastor in Zambia.  The "Liberty Baptist Mission" rubber stamp on John's residency.

Bro Theophil:  Sucker!  Yet to make landfall.  Some young Canadian "missionary" who probably hasn't a clue about the mess he is about to step into.

Allegedly, that was Roderick.  So John could get back a phone he had given him.  Roderick and Boyd have called John unfit to pastor, according to Handia.  John has also accused both Arcade and Jolis of stealing from him and of falling into sin.

Cross John and he attacks.  Arcade, Jolis and Roderick have suffered the worst attacks, IMO.

All of this happened since last November, when John made a video boasting about his incredible success and featuring many of the above very prominently.

ETA:  It may be me, but John seems to be a lot more cautious about naming his converts these days.  Unless they are dead.  I don't think he likes us being able to track them.

If he actually read his Bible and understood it all together in its context, he would see that yes, salvation is by grace, but that gift is so amazing that you can't help but be moved by love and thankfulness to do good works. You can't make God love you more by those works, but if you're not doing them then chances are you haven't really understood what Jesus has done for you.

Please Pray for Mr. Penwell

This is the Headman of Chisobe Village. The village men are very hardened to the Gospel, but Mr. Penwell has attended every single preaching service we have held there the three different times we have made the trek to the village.

As I've mentioned before, Chisobe means, "We are lost." This last trip Mr. Penwell, after receiving opposition from villagers, was the one to take us to the Chief to obtain his permission for our camping and preaching in the villages in his Chiefdom.

Mr. Penwell has 16 children, 51 grandchildren, and I can't remember how many great-grandchildren!

His last words to us as we were leaving his village this time were, as translated to me by Bro. Phellion from our second church plant in Mulamba village, "Please don't stop coming, I want to understand better how to enter the Kingdom of God."

These words thrilled my soul.

If Mr. Penwell, as the Headman, comes to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, it could open the hearts of many in the village that are now hardened and whose minds Satan has blinded.

Please interceed fervently for Mr. Penwell, Chisobe Village, and for us.
