Lori is traveling, right? I think someone said she is in New York, based on her IG account. My question: What in the world is she doing posting to Facebook and managing her blog, practically all day, when she is on a trip?!? If she is in New York, I'm guessing she's visiting her son and his family. So much for cherishing that family time. We all see where her priorities are.

I am probably putting too much thought into this but something just seems off to me (more than normal) about Lori's demeanor lately. There is a desperation to her that has not always been there, in my opinion. 

I think that something has indeed got her spooked. If Ken's eyes or other parts have wandered, she's got to be thinking how little else she's got to work with. All the cooking, cleaning, gardening, homeschooling, money-saving she talks about as women's role--She doesn't do much of that anyway. She certainly doesn't keep turmoil out of his life, since he keeps having to clamber up on that Horse of Truth again to settle things down online. 

I'm wondering as she goes on yet again about all the things we're incompetent to do--mow the lawn, run the weed-eater, fix the leak, earn a living, investigate the noise in the living room at 3 a.m., decide how to vote, have a clue--she is imagining what it would be like to have to do all that herself while he spanks some be-thonged bottom somewhere else.

Doesn't one of her sons live in New York?  I am guessing that's who she's visiting, but she is clearly glued to her Facebook/blog/Instagram.  

I can kind of picture her telling them she has to "rest", and then going to her room to "monitor" her various forms of social media.

I have noticed recently, that anytime I go to TTW Facebook page, a chat window automatically pops up.  

It says, "The Transformed Wife is active now. Start a conversation."

I do not like or follow her page, and it just recently started happening.  Super weird.  Also weird that every.single.time. I go to the page, it says she's "active".  

She is obsessed with making sure no one is allowed to disagree with her.

Dang thing pops up every single time. Also she must be on it 24/7 because no matter what time (I'm ET) I open the FB site it says she's active.

Someone up thread said she's in Lake George, NY, which is a resort in upstate NY,  Perhaps LoriKen are vacationing with her son, DIL and grandchild.  Well,,, probably just Ken is as Lori is glued to her FB page

That's what I found puzzling.  It seems she's literally glued to it.  Remember when she made that video in the dark (you know, the one where she was whispering about all of the immodest harlots)?  I am betting she was up monitoring her Facebook page.

I simply cannot EVEN with the kind of woman who automatically thinks women are horrible. I had one refuse to attend a baby shower not because she hated showers but because "nothing is worse than a roomful of women!" Another, when I was about to tell her about the all-woman cast of a play I had been in, jumped in with how HORRIBLE that must have been, because women can be so BITCHY. (Actually, I met a lot of great women and made plenty of new friends.)

I tend not to trust women who have absolutely no female friends. Many "I'm just one of the guys!" women won't admit it, but they're proud of and get their strength from knowing how to manipulate men--they have no female friends because other women can see right through them.

So, once again, fuck you, Lori.

I think Lori can't comprehend this because she is not maternal, let alone fiercely protective. This is a woman who did everything she could to avoid spending time with her children. She let her newborns cry through the night, flicked their cheeks if they bit while nursing and beat a toddler over "raisans."  This is a woman who, while home schooling, had her kids "read, do some math and eat snacks." She made them spend two hours a day in their rooms so she could rest.  

She wasn't interested enough in her children to be protective of them. I think this is just one more area where she truly does not have the capacity to feel for somebody else, even if it is a child.

I've seen that chat window recently, and it's driving me up the wall. I don't see chat windows popping up on any other FB page that I visit, and while I'd be OK with that happening on, say, one of the polymer clay pages/groups that I am actually a part of, I hate it on her page. It's like she's going way out of her way to get anyone and everyone to comment, or interact with her in some way. There's a term for people who just can't stand to be ignored, and while it's generally used for women who post half-naked pictures just to get attention, I'm starting to think of Lori as a different type of attention whore.

I agree with this whole heartedly. In order for someone to understand mama bear, one has to somewhat BE mama bearish. She isn't interested in protecting anything but herself & her agenda. She didn't have children for the joy of it, she had children out of obligation & selfish pride. Who else, but a raging narcissistic bitch, would bring children into the world solely to get out of working?? That's just pure evil IMHO. 

I can't even go there with her 'women in the military' views anymore. She makes my damn blood pressure high.

Maybe it pops up when she stays logged in, which I'm sure is always?  I don't really know how FB chat works though.  I have mine turned off.   If I want to talk to someone I turn it on, talk to the person and turn it off.  I don't need the distraction of people randomly chatting with me when I'm trying to get something done.  Stuff is already too shiny

I (and siblings) are trying to convince our mom to get to a ortho surgeon asap. I told her degeneration, severe narrowing, tipped/slipped disk & stenos do not correct themselves with PT, & pain meds and the more nerves are damaged the longer they take to get back (if they will). Wish us luck! I think my next example to her is if the diagnosis was cancer, she wouldn't be waiting to call a specialist.

wait. I think some of the foul language were from men but of course she focuses on the women.

I think she is really disgusted by it because people are calling her out but I agree with @delphinium65, Lori is an attention whore.
