When I take a bath, Arlo comes in and jumps up to hang out on the windowsill of the open window for a while.

Then he jumps down to the top of the little dresser where my clothes wait.

Then after I get out and am ready to get dressed, he is always super comfy and gives me the most insulting look asking why I must disturb his nest.

He always reaches out at least one paw and if I give him my hand, he kind of hugs it -- very sweet!

I've tried to explain that I love snuggling with him but maybe we could find a better time than when I'm in the bathroom shivering trying to put my jammies on.

Loving the kitties! Congratulations to all the new kitty headships...you've all made wise choices in picking your human. 

Not much new w/Luke & Leia...they're not exactly thrilled their human procured a canine companion also. They survived the move from NV to CO with minimal stress. They got a new cat tree out of the deal and are loving all the hidey spots in it. They are still the overlords here, the human must feed them before she has her coffee as is their right. The human got them the self-cleaning litter box and Leia decided that she did not like it one bit and took to pooping in the human's bedroom until the human brought back the nasty old litter box. What Leia wants, Leia gets.

Juniper has also explored it a little.  Bob not yet.

I had to spray catnip oil AND toss treats to even get them over to it.

Now that I'm in my bedroom for the night, instead of there with a camera at hand, they'll probably be all over it overnight.  And then look all aloof again when I come back out in the morning...

Awwwwwwww.  And additional awwwwww too.  Your new fur niece looks a lot like what my fur niece TK did at that age.  Course now TK is a big ol girl who rules her property and makes sure the human residents stay in line.

Good idea! The lid on the litter box becomes redundant once the container is closed, or am I missing something?

Really? I think he looks stoned as hell LOL.  Real talk he is the sweetest most gentle of the three. He just wants to sit near me or on my lap while his brother and sister go wild.

Had this old one of my late fur niece Maggie. 

Maggie loved bull riding and thinking about catching and having one of those big things for dinner. 

Actually had a tear come up from this. God I miss my fur niece.

He's snoring... ?

I know this is all "I walked five miles through the snow with hot potatoes in my pockets to keep my hands warm and the cold potatoes were my lunch" but when I was growing up, pets, especially cats, did not have toys.  I love that they now have lots of play stuff.  

Also when I was growing up, cats went in and out as they preferred.  Many (most?) cats are now indoor cats, so do need stimulation provided by their human staff.
