My brother, sister-in-law, and my niece are off on a cruise this week.  So I'm helping cat/house sit while they're away. 

And TK is sooooo thrilled about my presence.

TK has her limits on human contact. TK loves human mommy and daddy. Her human sister and all other humans not so much.

 

Most of the time she was hiding when I was over at the house. Came out a few times. Once I found a lump on the bed and it meowed. Rest of the week I couldn’t figure out where she was hiding.

Down in Des Moines visiting my sister, brother in law, and the fur balls.  Marvel and my new fur nephew London.  

London is pretty friendly. Came over and wanted attention from the new strange human right away.  And Marvel was happy to see me too. He seems to be doing better now that there’s a co-conspirator in the house with him.

@smittykins, my Charlie has come close to doing the same thing!  what is it with house panthers? 

we have a five-quart inverted dispenser, and it's rather heavy when it's full.  Charlie doesn't care.  the base is curved so you can pick it up off the floor, and he reaches under the curved parts and pulls the whole thing around, usually three or four inches in multiple directions.  and of course the water sloshes out.  when we hear it moving around, we just grumble about Charlie messing with the water dish again.

Unrelated, but Jimmy the kitten has several little fur mice, and he likes to leave them in the water dish.  we say he's giving them a bath.

In addition to being my maternal Grandpa's 116th birthday my sister reminded us today was the one year anniversary of my fur niece Maggie leaving for the rainbow bridge.

I miss her too.  She was such as sweet girl cat.  Really shy at first but once she got to know who I was and how I was always good for new toys and treats she loved snuggles with me.

TK had her 7th birthday on the 1st. (Thats about when we think she was born based on her age when my sister-in-law found here). Here she is with the present I got her.

We have a new addition to the crew.  This loud little monster came running to me meowing the whole time.  She & I decided she needed to live with us.  I'm guessing she's in the 6 month range but she's a pretty big kitten.  There's definitely some Bengal in there.  She lives in my daughter's little house with her& her kitty Rowena.

My brother and sister in law are out this week so I'm over house / TK sitting.  And as you all can no doubt tell she is so thrilled I am over cramping her style and keeping her from throwing wild parties.
