Yeah my sister and brother in law's boys have a whole basement full of toys to keep them entertained.  Tunnels, catnip mice, tails, and so on.  My sister spoils her boys absolutely rotten. 

Even my brother and sister in law's girl TK has quite a few toys.  Lot more than cats I knew growing up did.

What are you implying about the fact that my home has more cat trees than it does chairs?

Shadow has toys, but give her a soda cap or a Ping-Pong ball and she’s in hog heaven.

I have discovered catnip oil spray.

Now anything I shpritz becomes a cat toy.  And passé cat toys are revived and become exciting all over again.

My cats have ALL the toys. But present something like a chapstick standing up on the counter, or my nice work pin minding its own business on a table, and they MUST. KNOCK.OFF.

My sister in law mentioned that TK put her paw on my niece’s foot the other day.  Maybe they’re reaching a peace accord. Which of course is gonna get blown up when my new human niece arrives in April.

Based on your recommendation, I ordered a bottle.  Our cat has fallen in love with her old toys again.  I think the extra exercise flinging them around is doing her some good and is entertaining to us.  We are using it sparingly so she doesn’t overdo, lol.  ?

Isn't it fabulous?  Yes, I try to restrain myself, re-spraying toys maybe every few months.  When I bought a new cat tree for Christmas I sprayed the various levels to encourage exploration, and then sprayed the cubbies of our existing/old cat trees to remind them of those too. (we now have four cat trees for three cats -- don't judge!)

 

And on a somewhat related note -- does this mean he thinks he should be on my To Do list?

That look when I threw a treat to the cat on the ground, and this one was too comfortable in the hammock to bother getting up to try to steal it but still THAT'S NOT FAIR.
