I bought this basket a few weeks ago, and all the cats thought it was a good place to take naps.  It’s Jimmy’s turn.

Went to a Minneapolis cat cafe today.   This guy named Phil took a shine to me. 

 

Yeah if I could have a feline roommate at the condo I’d think of adopting.

And this was a friendly doppelgänger of my fur niece TK.

I went to pet him and he didn't move in for the kill like a certain feline niece named TK would have.  I told him that too.

Yeah if I could have a cat right now I’d be doing everything to adopt this guy cause it looks like we both have similar asshole tolerances.

Had a chance to stop by and see my feline niece last weekend.

As always, she was sooooo thrilled to see me.

She did get a treat though.  Mommy gave her some wet food and the moment TK saw the can she was jumping up on mommy and meowing for mommy to give her the contents.  By the time I left she had eaten most o it.

My late fur niece Allison. 

She went to the bridge way back in 2008. I still miss her though. Allison was such a sweet girl cat.

One way to keep them far enough apart that there is no chance of a fight (which unfortunately does still happen sometimes between these two) is dueling cat trees, too far apart to go straight from one to the other.

I still miss her. She was such a sweet girl cat.

Presenting my foster/nephew/cat Asher The Kitty. He is my niece’s cat, but she’s temporarily living with her folks, and her dad is allergic to cats and dogs. To avoid her having to rehome him, I told her Asher will have a home with me as long as he needs one.

My fur nephew Marvel celebrated his tenth birthday today!

I remember what a little guy he was when my sister first got him.  He's a big old chonky man cat now.

I'm down in Iowa this weekend to visit family.  Including my furry niece TK.  AKA The Brat.  She definitely got out of the wrong side of the litter box this morning.  To wit....

Well TK crossed over the rainbow bridge today. 

She hadn’t been doing well for a while and lost a lot of weight. Had open wounds and sores so it was time.  Of all the days to happen it happened on my birthday but at least she’s not suffering anymore.
