I'm a bit hesistant to believe this since the story comes from RadarOnline, which is always making up stories about the Duggars which later prove to be untrue. Also, Anna has never gotten pregnant only six months after giving birth. It took her 11 months to get pregnant with Michael, 1 yr and 2 months to get pregnant with Marcus and 1 yr 4 months to get pregnant with Meredith.

Just because the tabloids pick up each others' stories doesn't make them true.  Right after Amy's wedding, the story was that Anna had gone to stay with her parents.  Some said she had taken all four children, others that she had only taken the baby.  And they kept saying it even when the photographic evidence showed the kids, including Meredith in Arkansas.

Then they were all saying that Anna wanted a divorce and JB was buying her a new house to get her to stay.  And they followed that up with Josh was begging Anna to take him back and have his baby..

Speculation that Anna might get pregnant during one of the conjugal visits she paid Josh has been inevitable ever since People (whose sources usually are somewhat accurate) disclosed that Anna had visited Josh and spent three "best days of her life" with him.  So it is not surprising that the tabloids are now moving to "she thinks she might be pregnant."

It is not impossible she is pregnant.  (It is actually a safer guess than the earlier guess that she wanted a divorce.)  And it is possible also that if she isn't now, she will get pregnant the next time she visits, or at some point after Josh returns from prayer prison.

I just don't think this report that she "thinks she might be pregnant" is anything but speculation.

Urgh, I can't believe I went to Radaronline and read the actual article.  I FEEL DIRTY AND NEED A SHOWER NOW.

Guys, what the article ACTUALLY says is that the "source" (HI AMY if the tabloids aren't pulling shit out of their asses entirely and making the whole thing, including the existence of the source, up) said that Anna "thinks she MAY be pregnant".  Here's the exact (probably made up bullshit) quote:

“Anna announced that she thinks she is pregnant again. She believes the baby is a sign that God has forgiven Josh for his many sins, and she’s vowed to stand by her husband.”
 

"Thinks she's pregnant" =/= ACTUALLY BEING pregnant IF Anna even said that WHICH I VERY MUCH DOUBT.

 

Also these tabloids are saying she conceived over the Christmas visit to Joshely's Jail.  Uhh, that was three weeks ago.  I know these people like to announce before the piss stick is even dry but would SHE even know yet?  I mean, the missed period would only be this very week.

I dunno, these people are fucking crazy so I guess anything is possible.  There WILL be an M5 eventually if Joshley doesn't do the right thing and divorce Anna now but I can't see it happening this soon.  As lisa_m just pointed out, it took Anna 11 months to conceive Michael after Mackenzie and that was back when Josh and Anna were (seemingly) happy and wanted a second child.

Anna always thinks she's pregnant.  We saw her take tests more than once on the show that were negative.  Wishful thinking does not a baby make.

I would be skeptical even if the tabloids said "a source close to the family says Anna is pregnant" but the fact that they added in the "thinks she is" part screams standard tabloid disqualifiers to me. They took out all accountability with that line and they knew it.

I was going to post exactly this. The source is unreliable, and it doesn't fit with Anna's previous history. Also, it would have been quite the coincidence if the only 3 days she spends with Josh were the ones where she was fertile (assuming she has her cycles back which I don't think is the case given her usual spacing). It seems like typical gossip, given their strange situation and beliefs, it's just too easy.

I was hoping Anna would be given support to reflect on her less-than-ideal husband without the pressure of a new pregnancy.  Family should be supporting Anna to focus on herself and the children.

I call BS on this.  I have to think the Duggars buy pregnancy tests in bulk quantity and that there would be one laying around to pee on and the "thinking" would be quickly confirmed one way or the other.   If M4 is being exclusively being breast fed its a little early for another pregnancy.  But she could very well wish she was pregnant after her visit with Josh, ugh...

What this means is that she had unprotected intercourse with him which is disgusting as hell if you think about it. He comes home from rehab and instead of keeping it in his pants out of respect for the things he has done and out of respect *cough* for his suffering wife, he uses the fact that she cannot say no because submission.

I cannot believe that in any sex/porn addict program they say: Here's your Christmas break, go home and have sex with the person you cheated on. Have fun! What the actual f***

No, I don't think she is. Meredith is only a baby still, and usually her kids are spaced about 2 years apart. Also thinking youre pregnant is different from actually being pregnant. There are many reasons why a woman might think they are pregnant, but then not be pregnant, and with Anna's baby obsession, shes probably the sort of person to go "Maybe I am pregnant, yay!" when she is 2 days late for her period.

 

Unfortunately I don't think Meredith will be the last though, but I wont be expecting any announcement until she is at least one and a half.

  Of course a baby has nothing to do with forgiveness. Is it all made up bull crap with these people? My goodness, nothing is based on facts or anything real. It's all "God told me..." As if Anna herself was not in charge of Anna's life. What a cop out. I'm not putting Anna in particular down, I know she can't hep it, but damn. Is anyone responsible for their actions or their own happiness? Your husband sucks? Leave. Don't stay and hope you get little signs from God that everything is okay now. Or if you want to stay with your husband because you want to be there then stay but don't say it's because of some other entity deciding for you or giving you signs. Just gross the way these fundies hand over their personal power. Would you like my personal agency gift-wrapped, Jesus?

I guess I should know better, I read the headlines that popped up in the trending ticker on FB.  I didn't actually click the links, this is what I get for not falling for the click bait.  I hope like hell she isn't the last thing she needs (or Josh but I give no fucks about him but the kid would suffer so I care a little) is one more kid to care for, The epic stupidity of the Quiverful never ceases to amazing me.

Radar makes shit up. We all know that.

Even if Radar didn't make this up, Anna is forever "thinking" she's pregnant.

Given her typical gap in time after births and the fact that little Smugs has been in her general vicinity only a few times at most in the last 5 months, the odds heavily favor her not being with child.

Now would she like to be?  Probably, and that's the saddest thing of all.
