It is so bizarre. I think all they know is that they have a period once or a month. And if you aren't currently bleeding...they think that means you could be pregnant. I don't think they know anything about ovulation or any of that.

I mean, I could see not knowing if your period is "late" if you have an irregular cycle. But that's really the only excuse other than complete ignorance about how the female body works.

Is that another way to say JB will support them as well as all his other adult children he has under his guard?! But, then we really don't want JB actually thinking he is Jebus even though he probably already thinks he is.

I am sorry but at some point supporting that sheer number of people will have to become overwhelming. But, it is his own fault. For raising them to be poorly educated and for his need to have full control over his kingdom.

My understanding of Christian treatment for sex/porn addiction is not abstinence (as it is for alcohol and other substances).  The  cure for porn addiction  is when you  ONLY have sexual desire for your spouse and act on this.  I wouldn't be surprised if both Josh and Anna were actively encouraged to have sex as part of the treatment.

silly folks Jesus will provide. These people don’t plan children, the concept of waiting for a better time doesn’t mean anything to them. G-d plans, G-d sends babies, G-d will take care of you.

Exactly this. Whenever I start to think they should know something about sex/reproduction, I ask myself if I knew that thing in middle school.

maybe they truly never thought about it - up until Michelle couldn't get pregnant anymore 

and then maybe now they are just dealing with it because they have no choice 

or maybe they just let the adults go at it and let them do whatver 

as for the littles - maybe michelle just doesn't care and lets jana raise them 

maybe she hides out in the office 10 hours a day

They believe that children are gifts from God. If you refuse his most basic of gifts, why would he bless you with anything else?

Well, I believe that giving gifts that a recipient can't afford to keep is an asshole move. Even more so if you know the gift will plunge the recipient and all their dependents into poverty. So, I'm totally comfortable with rejecting such gifts, because what other asshole-y gifts will come after?

I often wonder what Michelle and JB (mostly Michelle though) do all day when they aren't at speaking events or being filmed for TLC. Obviously they don't interact with their children like normal parents. So...what do they do?!
