Who knows if any of these things really happened with these women. I don't think there's any way to 'prove' it short of some photos or video or something. Hell, I could call up Intouch and make up some bullshit and they'd probably report it.

I am still on the fence about whether he was having affairs with porn "stars", and leaning towards no. Seems kind of strange that all of Josh's conquests would be from porn, unless he met them on a pay for play site. I am still on board with most of his affairs, if there were more than one, were with people he met from his own circle. I have no doubt that people in super conservative land are screwing around just as much as everyone else and Josh could find someone who would play.

The bolded part of EmmieJ's comment really stuck with me when I read it the other night. It made me wonder if the 40-year-old had someone waiting at home, and was generalizing that all men cheat simply because he chose to be the type who cheats. Sort of like the person who always accuses their mate of cheating, when in reality it's the accuser that's constantly screwing around.

(Apologies, EmmieJ, I'm not trying to insist this was exactly what he was thinking when he was with you at the time, or even that he was necessarily cheating with you, it's just that your post gave me something to think about, and I am wondering out loud over the possibilities)

Oops - somehow I didn't see this response until now. I just wanted to clarify that the man I referred to was single at the time, as was I. He was actually a single father, and his son at the time was around 11 or 12. He had been married, but the wife left because she decided she didn't like being a wife and a mom, so he ended up raising his son by himself. I don't think this guy cheated on me, but we only dated for a period of about 4 months, while I was on a break from college. When I went back to school, we parted ways. But given his clearly spoken opinion, it's entirely possible that he had cheated on other women in the past and figured he might do so in the future.

One thing that is raising a red flag for me is that the second woman is also claiming to be a porn star. I can believe the part of her claim about Josh being unnecessarily rough, but the fact that this one also makes pornographic films? It seems like it would be a lot more trouble for him to seek out these actresses and get them to agree to be paid for sex as opposed to anonymously hooking up with whomever responds to his ads online...

I could be wrong, but I have this idea that there's a fair number of porn actresses who will, um, entertain paying clients. If Josh has a complex and thinks only a certain type of woman should behave a certain way, or if he finds them more attractive or more accessible than average women, for instance. It's not hard for me to imagine any of those scenarios.

That's very true, it's probably not hard to for him to indulge any sort of kink or fantasy, and with a certain type of woman, if he just knows where to look.

I sometimes imagine it's harder for Josh than it probably actually is to find what he's looking for in an affair, when in reality it's probably quite easy.

The term "porn star" could mean many things. Perhaps this person has a webcam site that provides her a good income, perhaps she has been in a number of amateur films that are featured on pay sites that have done well for her, perhaps she has been in photos... To the publishers, for the sale of this story, it really matters very little what the nature of the "porn" is, nor the breadth of her "stardom."

When the story broke about Joshly, I did check fetlife for the toughguy22 or whatever. Came up with an account that had 'bubble bath for two' listed as a fetish. If he had a fetlife, since most of the events are private and strictly no photography, you'll probably never know.
