Jessa Duggar Seewald - Part 4

They would make themselves look better if they were out publicly supporting Anna instead of blabbing out forgiveness like Jessa is doing right now. Everyone feels terrible for Anna right now and they should be eager to show everyone how much they support her.

I don't think Ben is smart enough to cheat. Like he wouldn't know how.

Ben might be dumb but he still knows where to stick it.

So Jessa posted her bible quote on forgiveness on Facebook and a Daniel Keller commented a few times saying he offered his sister and the kids to come live with him. Also said their parents were more concerned with how a divorce would look. It seemed legitimate but I didn't know Anna had a brother. It was nice to see - he's definitely angry with Josh.

Wow, Daniel Keller is PISSED. Can't say I'm surprised, but at least now we know that some of her siblings are totally willing to help her (but as suspected she's refusing that help)...

I'm not seeing two babies in the ultrasound. I'm going to try to post a few 3D ultrasounds from my pregnancy with my second daughter so you can see what they look like. One ultrasound from 14 weeks and one from 27 weeks.

In addition, I actually have twins and also have plenty of ultrasounds where only one is visible.

I find it gross that all sins are equal in their eyes. I'm sorry but stealing a piece of candy when you are 5 years old is not equal to cheating on your wife for years. I am A-OKAY with judging someone who has done what Josh has done, because NOTHING I have done wrong even comes close. I'm not perfect, no one is, but lots of us don't stoop to the levels he has.

Also, LMFAO at the hashtag #bubblebathfor2

It doesn't matter to me if Blessa posted those scriptures in favor of Smuggar or to show that she does not approve of his actions...I find it is a mix of coward, condescending, and smug way for her to respond to anything. I might just call her Smuggar 2.0 from now on. Either make a statement in your own words or don't. If it had been an uplifting encouraging scripture it would have been one thing...anyway, I'll stop here before I start ranting. This girl comes across as more and more condescending each day.

Edited to clarify a sentence.

YESSSS!!!!!!!!! This makes me so happy to know that there is someone legitimately close to Anna who is not okaying Josh's behavior to her and encouraging her to get out. If only she had more people who were close to her telling her the same thing. At least she has one person in her life who will be for her with the inevitable happens and Josh either leaves her or he does something she can't get past and has to leave.

As for Jessa and any other Duggar saying they forgive Josh, screw them. They're just trying to save what's left of their brand at this point but it's too little too late.

Since FJ was mentioned in a response to Daniel Keller on Jessa's page perhaps he'll take a look at what we are saying over here. I'd like to suggest to him that he tell Anna that a trial separation during which Josh could get some real therapy might strengthen their marriage in the long run. (Who knows, he might be so distracted by making it up to Anna if she remained in the area that he won't have enough focus to work on his own issues.) [sarcasm] But she might respond to it - after all it is for Josh's well being and all that.

I want to shake that man's hand for standing by his sister and being willing to do whatever he can for her.

GO DAVID KELLER!

WOW. That is amazing. Go Daniel! I am assuming he isn't fundy? Or is he one of the younger ones? Hopefully, between him and Susanna (someone mentioned that she also posted on fb some anti-josh things) Anna will slowly see the light.

Agreed! I'm a believer, and I'm so sick and tired of that "judge not" verse being misquoted by "Christians" to justify special exemptions for themselves. The quote is "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?" (Matt. 7:1-3). It's basically telling people not to be hypocrites. Don't harp on someone's failings when you've done the same or worse, and if you're going to hold people to a standard, make sure you meet that standard, too. Well, I DO expect people not to be child molesters or cheaters, and I DO hold myself to that standard, so there's no plank in my eye when I say that Josh Duggar dun wrong! :nenner:

Interesting... I wonder if Daniel Keller knew about the molestations before Anna married Josh?

I don't believe Anna knew all the details.... It'd be interesting if Daniel did or not.

If he knew before, why was he not concerned Anna was marrying a child molestor?

Hopefully he is at least telling Anna this is not her fault. Someone needs to tell her that until she can bring herself to believe it.

But wasn't Jessa the one who posted how many Christians cling to that verse, and that it is OK to judge and condemn immorality?

One of the most quoted verses from the Bible is Matthew 7:1 "Judge not!" Whenever someone speaks out against something that God calls sin, "Don't judge!" can be heard coming from a thousand lips. People don't like to have other people disapprove of the way they're choosing to live their life.

I will speak to you a hard truth. I do not write this because I think that it will bring me popularity. It won't. But it is Truth from the Word of God: the Bible.

To not tell people this is to hide the truth from them. To keep silent is to not care for their eternal destiny! I care about you, and this is why I am speaking out!

In this world, people have seared their consciences. The standard of what is "ok" or "permissible" in our society today, hardly reflects God's standard.

People are content to live on in lying, cursing, pride, anger, bitterness, disrespecting of parents, lust, pornography, fornication, adultery, and other sexual sins-- and if anyone tries to confront them, their attitude and response is, "You live your life, I'll live mine. Don't you tell me what to do! Only God can judge me!"

They don't even realize what they're saying. God's judgement isn't something to be taken lightly! It should scare you! Man's "judgement" is a 1000x lighter... usually just a voicing of disapproval. But when unbelieving, sinful men die and stand before God, He justly condemns them to hell.

But people disregard the Bible, and instead use all kinds of human logic to try to justify their way of living:

Person #1: "I've been living this lifestyle for years, and I'm a 'Christian.' I don't feel that God is angry with me. I believe in a loving God, not one who would send people to hell."

The person speaking this is right-- their god is not angry with them. He can't be, because he doesn't exist. They are not talking about the God of the Bible. They have created a god in their own mind to suit themselves. They have removed any notion of the Justice of God, and have created a god of their imagination that they can be comfortable with.

The Bible teaches that God is a Just Judge, and He must punish sin. Every one of us have broken God's law, and hell is our deserved punishment. (Unless you're reading some very distorted "translation" of the Bible, you cannot get around the fact that there is a hell).

Person #2: "I have a 'peace' about this, and I'm listening to my heart. God doesn't seem to be judging me. If God didn't approve, why wouldn't He strike me dead right now?"

First off, our human hearts are bent toward sin and not righteousness. We shouldn't follow the inclinations of our heart, but rather we know what is right and wrong according to what we find in God's Word: the Bible.

Secondly, God isn't slacking to fulfill His promised Judgement on sin--it's coming. And the only reason you're are alive right now is because He is merciful and has kept your heart beating for another day. He is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish but that all should reach repentance. But He will not hold back forever. The hours of your time here on earth are ticking away. You're not promised another day, or even another breath. God's Day of Judgement draws near. It will come as a thief in the night--when you least expect it. Everything that you have done in secret will be exposed. Nothing we do is hidden from God's view. (1 Peter 3:9&10)

This should be concerning to you. I know it was for me! When I saw myself in light of God's standard, and I knew that I fell short. But I found hope in the Gospel-- the "good news" of Jesus Christ! I would still be lost today were it not for His grace!

Read what God has done so that you and I might be forgiven of our sins and saved from the punishment we deserve:

16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him.

18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.

20 For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed.

21 But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God."

John 3:16-21

Repent! Turn away from sin, and to Jesus Christ today! Be saved from the wrath to come.

The believing man has Christ's perfect record put to their account.

God gives him a new heart and new desires.

If you find yourself a sinner in need of Jesus, then open your Bible today and begin to read the books of John and Romans. Let the Word of God root out the sins of your heart. Do not let up until you have found Salvation for your soul!

 I've been hoping for comments from Anna's siblings since the molestation scandal. Good for Daniel! (Please, FSM, let that really be him.) You guys now I wouldn't spit on Anna if she were on fire but I'm genuinely happy that she has at least one person in her life who's got her back.

This! Also, Fundie reactions to Joshgate 1.0 and 2.0 show their hypocrisy so much. If Josh had had a gay affair, or God forbid (*sarcasm*) was a person in a committed gay relationship, do you think they'd be posting "judge not"? No way! The "nicest" thing would be "love the sinner, hate the sin".

Ben is so much like my cousin 's jelly spined (fundie lite) husband to have an affair unless he gets permission first. Jess's wears a skirt but she has the balls in that family
