What, no picture of Michelle deep throating one while Jim Bob dry humps her?

Don't give her ideas on how next to make fun of her poor daughter and her boyfriend, lol.

They are disgusting and would probably do that. I wish they would stop forcing their sex life on people. How immodest.

Hey Michelle, what if you are stirring up desires in Ben that cannot be righteously fulfilled and he leaves Jessa for you, or you tempt them into having sex before marriage just because you keep taunting them about how they cant. What is the point of this act?

Is it like the Pearl version of child raising. Are they tempting Jessa into having sex before marriage so they can catch her at it and beat her with plumbing line?

If Buzzard (I bow to you Buzzard)'s episode recap isn't enough for y'all, Wonkette has kindly done it again, with a shout out to us:

http://wonkette.com/546144/here-is-your ... uor-please

"In the buddy system, one older child is tasked with wrangling the younger ones each day. So, all the joys of parenting while still being a teenager. Michelle whines about how hard it is for her and Dad Duggar to deal with all their children. PRO-TIP: STOP HAVING CHILDREN FOR FUCK’S SAKE. ...

Cliffhanger! Jill might be courting too! How can we NOT tune in to the next episode to find out what will happen? The good folks over at Free Jinger might know, because they are getting their Duggar snark on HARD, which is quite the compliment coming from us. Tune in next week or tomorrow or in 15 minutes or something, because it looks like the Duggars did a two-fer episode last night, so there’s more to come. "

I generally like Anna, but yeah, her scenes are so freaking boring. Young mother takes her kids to the park. Young mother cooks a meal for her family and a couple of guests. Young mother assembles a toy for her children. zZzZzZz....

In my own mind I've equated getting "pinned" with what the Duggars do-- more than dating but less than engaged. I'm not sure what the heyday of getting pinned-- the 40's ?-- was but I know the boy pinned his class pin on the girl's sweater, an outward sign of going steady. Then for a little while girls were getting promise rings, not engagement rings exactly but a promise to be steady and think about getting engaged.

We didn't call them promise rings in the late 60s and early 70s. They were pre-engagement rings which I thought was pretty silly. Pre-engagement just always struck me as a bit lower class than getting pinned since the lower class wouldn't have fraternity pins to pin on their girl. Yeah, I got all my info from watching Dobie Giilis and shows like that.

Pinning lasted until the early 60s, at least.

Promise rings aren't uncommon at least among my friends (the non-fundie ones. not popular among the more religious ones, oddly...). Almost every couple I know that is very committed (dating for a few years and doing well) gets a promise ring.

I guess it's just an indicator that while they are still "just dating", they are more committed than your average bf/gf.

So much new stuff... I only just saw that Jill's engagement has been announced (havne't checked to see if there's a separate FJ thread for that yet).

But one point from last night's episode that no one else has mentioned yet. At one point there was a TH with Jackson (and someone else, maybe Hannie) about the talent show, and I just noticed that Jackson needs to be told that he's a big boy now and needs to knock the "I'm such a cute little thing" downward glances off. Maybe I'm overly sensitive... I have a 9 year old son (a bit younger than Jackson) and he's got one friend in particular who also is still trying to play that 'overly cute youngest child' card (and his mom is still buying it, even though this kid is 10 already) even though all of the other boys are acting their age...

This was right about the same time that there was the shot of Joy going cross-eyed at frustration... it's like someone gave those kids a few schlocky techniques on hamming it up for the camera.

Damn them. That picture of Boob and Michelle going at it Duggar-style on the butt butt golf course will never leave my memory. They should have put the "once you see you can't unsee" BEFORE the pic.

Haven't had much time to scroll through the past few pages to see what people are saying about last night's episode, but I found JB and Michelle to be DISGUSTING! My almost 7 year old girls love watching the show and I usually watch with them, because usually it's pretty family friendly but even I was grossed out by JB asking Michelle if she was turned on, especially considering they were in front of their daughter! I would never speak like that in front of my kids. They know my husband and I love each other, but we don't need to be slobbering all over each other and humping while playing mini golf to show it.. :pink-shock:

I really like that they aren't pushing Jackson to act like the rest of the boys. He seems like a sweet, silly kid. One thing that jumped out at me in the episode is that he was grouped with the younger girls for the skit. And he usually seems to hang out with them more than his brothers. I hope they don't start pressing him to change that once he hits 10 or some other arbitrary age.

And of course they all have little things they do yo ham it up..it's their job.

I cannot wait until Jill pops out a baby. J'Chelle will throw as many daggers at her own daughter as she did at Anna. Cue the breakdown.

"Let us take a moment to point out that Jessa is 20 and should be out at TGIFriday’s using her fake ID, going to a rave, listening to hippity-hop or doing cocaine or other things that normal 20-year-olds do, but instead she is stuck in this hell where she has to date this doofus who doesn’t know what knot to use on a tie. Do you think they pushed for Jill's engagement to be announced first over Jessa's and will push to have Jill marry first because she is older?

I honestly don't think so, I think it's just the natural order of how things have worked out.

Jill and Dill seem far more ready for marriage- Jill is older and seems to have a clear idea of what direction she wants in life- living abroad and continuing in midwifery. Dill is also older, has a proper education, job etc.

They just seem all round in a better place to be considering marriage than Bessa. I've no doubt that Jill will get married first, probably fairly soon since fundies tend to have short engagements, but again I think that's just how things have worked out without anyone pushing for it to happen that way.

Oh, she'll go bonkers, alright. Last time it was *just* her son's wife. This time, it will be one of her OWN DAUGHTERS. I think this will make all the difference. Before, Michelle could be content in giving Anna the cold shoulder. Now, she will have to face the fact that she is essentially being "replaced" by someone who perhaps shares her high fertility through genetics.

I dunno -- on the Jackson thing, I kind of think he acts like that because it's the only way he knows HOW to act in such a big family. It's his way of individuating himself and getting attention. So I doubt he'll mature out of it anytime soon -- it's too much a part of who he is.

Also, does anyone know if a streaming link to the latest episode has been posted anywhere online yet? Am having the hardest time finding it.

And she'll hate all the attention they get. I think a Duggar Daughter pregnancy will generate much more interest than Anna's. And I think all of the kids will be much more into the pregnancy (since it is the first for one of their sisters), and Michelle will be placed on the back burner (which she will hate).

Which is really too bad, as I'm sure all of the daughters could use a supportive mother during pregnancy. What they'll get is someone who is jealous and bitter.

I was just re-watching last week's episode, where Boob asks Ben to go help with the logs and says to Ben "I guess you are my 10th son" (wtf) Can he not count he HAS TEN SONS.

Why does the "complete opposite" of the Duggars have to be like this? I, for one, never had a fake ID, have never done drugs, nor have gone to a rave (which I'm guessing is supposed to be what "normal" 20 year olds do?). I wasn't a perfect young adult, but didn't think of my actions or lack of certain actions were necessarily less than normal. Then again, I have had health issues since birth, put myself through college, and actually loved my classes and jobs. Goody two-shoes, maybe. Abnormal? What is "normal" anyway?

What do you think is Anna's big surprise phone call? Another baby on the way? What else could it be? Maybe they are moving back to Tonitown??

Maybe Priscilla is expecting again.

But my wildcard guess is Pecan is hooking up with xgaygreg.
