I get annoyed with the people who believe the bullshit. Some people really buy into the "sweet wholesome BS" crap that the Duggars throw out. They don't see the sexism that goes on in that family.

The numbers for the big draw episode this season only reached what was average a couple of seasons ago. I'm leaning toward the next season will be the last without another baby or a wedding or two. Not that I'm wishing for either of those.

eh, it's weird how people react to something like a miscarriage. last month at the normal hey-it's-a-baby 9-week-appointment ultrasound, the doctor couldn't find my fetus's heartbeat. my first reaction was a total lack of emotion; that lasted the first 30 minutes. so michelle's not-freaking-out is understandable.

that said, michelle as a person/mother is horrible. (whore-EE-blay.)

When I broke my toe the x-ray tech couldn't even tell me it was broken even though it was extremely obvious. His response when I asked was to show me the xray and ask me if I thought a toe should look like that since my toe was really messed up. However for prenatal ultrasounds the techs have always pointed a lot of things out frequently followed by positive comments about everything looking fine.

None of the epsiodes this season have been put up on YouTube and I can't seem to find it anywhere else either. Anyone else having any luck? TLC needs to get with 2012 and put their shows online like every other major network in the world.

Whether it's an x-ray, ultrasound, etc no one but a doc can give you a diagnosis - the most a tech is allowed to do is show you what they're looking at (heck you can have a paramedic looking down at your snapped femur, and he/she will only say "looks like you've got a broken leg, but we'll wait for the hospital to see how bad it is"). Of course many times a tech will see something that even a doc might not, but only a doc can give you the info. Hence, a tech telling Michelle about a miscarriage is total bs.

Think of it this way-- maybe some of the $$ Michelle paid for the shirt helped pay for those Ellen commercials. Yeah, it would just be a drop in the bucket but it's still a Duggar drop in the Ellen bucket.

Not a Duggar defender, but when I miscarried at 11 weeks, the ultrasound tech told me that she wasn't seeing "anything but an empty uterus." Maybe she was comfortable in saying that because of the experience I'd described to her. There was no mistaking that it was a miscarriage.

One more thing on the ultrasound - I feel like after they tell you there's no heartbeat there's a discussion about "now what" which includes how its coming out etc - not a prayer - and no doctor.

They are the best numbers of the season but certainly not good.

LIFE Dance Moms 2.381 and 1.1

This season they only had 3 episodes get over 1 million. Kate in her last season had the same "graph" a few over a million, a few under a million and the last episode was over 2 million. The Rollfs got cancelled with an average of over 1.3. The Duggars average would be between 950k-1 million for the season average.

Also, for the record, when I had my "missed miscarriage" I was told by the ultrasound tech - who had her ass handed to her on a sliver platter later. She was a student and her delivery of the news was immature and one of my very worst memories in life.

I laugh at the thought of that. Mullet probably doesn't know about Ellen being a spokesperson for JCP. The Duggars have forked over money to companies that support LGBT causes or employees. They have iPhones and Macs. Steve Jobs supported gay rights and Apple treats gay and lesbian employees pretty well. The Duggars took a Disney trip and Disney gives benefits to partners of gay employees.

Maybe I am alone in thinking this, but when the "ultrasound tech" said that, it made me think that the REAL doctors/nurses/technicians politely "declined" to be filmed for any part of a tv drama about a woman's miscarriage, and TLC had to bring in an actor to play "ultrasound technician". If they redid the 'scene' using an actor, that also explains the awkward/oddly timed prayer, the disconnect of what people are in the room, etc.

I hadn't thought of that but it makes perfect sense and would explain a lot :clap: :clap: As many have already said, the person doing the ultrasound cannot

tell the patient/parents what they see or think they see. End of.
