Nope. Those are definitely Pride bows.

The oldest, Donald, is available for Sarah. But he’s about 40 now. James is available for Anna. And Jonathan is available for Mary. But Steve wouldn’t allow it. Even if they were all going to the same family.

WV is so far! Maybe he could stay close to home and marry Nurie Rod. Who is half his age. I’m sure Jill would be fine with it as long as he signs up to be in her plexus downline ?

I am not sure I could see the Staddons and RodPod mixing. ? If we ever needed proof not all fundies know each other and think alike, we have it in West Virginia! I am really surprised ol' Jill has never made a move over to the lovely Staddon homestead.

I dont know much about the Staddons. Why wouldn't Steve allow matches between his daughters and Staddon sons? Seems like there could be matches, the ages are right---triple wedding yall!!!!! Think of all the $$$$ Steve would save.

Sarah has taken baby photos before, not to mention natural light photos. I'm not sure why she wrote this post as if she were a beginner who had no idea how to take a photo. She's done MUCH better work in the past. These felt very lifeless.

Her photos feel lifeless because all the life has been sucked out of her by Stevehovah.  I would hate having to take those pictures knowing how alone I am in that cult.

I personally think Steve has too many hoops any male suitors would have to jump through in order to pass his tests. The biggest one is that a male has to buy a home debt free. That is incredible hard to do. It takes a lot of years of saving up and you have to be lucky enough to live in a fairly low cost of living area. WV is pretty low but it would still be a lot of time saving up for a home. I have no idea if the Staddon sons have saved up enough to do that. The younger ones likely haven’t. I don’t even know what Donald does for work. James and Jonathan are photographers. Plus I kind of wonder if Steve would allow the girls move that far away.

it's all about control.  His daughters would have to follow the lead of their headships.  Steve cannot abide the idea that another man with different ideas, no matter how insignificant, could supplant his influence.

That, and the prospect of having to be alone at home with Teri the rest of his life has probably crossed his mind.

That's a pretty normal Gothard thing. Buy a trashed house, fix it up, flip it, etc. Staddons are in WV iirc. They'd have no problem doing this.

I don't know. As has been noted before, no marriages for any of his daughters looks very poor for Steve's brand. Not that I'm convinced that he has much of a hardcore following anyway. Has this uber-sheltering ever really taken hold?  People aren't stupid. We all see how it is for Annanmary. They are unpaid domestics, babysitters and whatever else Teri and Steve need on any given day. They apparently have no agency.

.So what's their future? They get to live in the big house and nurse their parents through old age, infirmities and death. Then live together in that house if it hasn't been traded up to one of the sons with a large family, until they die. 

I might seem harsh but I am advocating for those young women. If Steve reads here, good. Give your daughters their lives! You have no right to hold them in this kind of bondage. Unless....how the Maxwells portray themselves on their blog and how they actually live are completely at odds. If that were to be the case then somebody is Lying and that's a SIN.

Ok. Rant over. I feel soooo sorry for Teri and Steve's daughters. Nothing else on FJ makes me so ragey.

I'd imagine they can do it. It seems to be almost a requirement. But, I'll grant you they look more like preachers or professors than construction workers.

I'd welcome a Staddon-Maxwell pairing--even though they are fundie as hell, they seem more self-effacing  than most and enjoy a bit of fun on a regular basis.  It would be a step up from Maxhell for sure.

One of them is the Sarah who Christopher almost married. She was depressed about her wedding being called off, she got called to headquarters by Bill Gothard for a birthday party and she didn't leave for two years.

She also has a public instagram just look under her first middle last name.

She seems to have sold plexus and did some music lessons (IIRC) to make money but she's basically a SAHM with an e-bay store.

She wears pants and shorts now. But still goes to a more conservative church and does AWANA (which it seems like she did after she left HQ), not sure about before HQ. I don't think the Maxwells would be into AWANA, although they do have a KJV program.

That scares me. A young woman, depressed, feeling abandoned and hopeless, and Bill wanted her to come to the compound? He probably felt like she was easy prey. I hope that she was not harmed by him.
