Maxwell 22: Maxhell University Coursework

Holy. Shit. This cannot be real. This family is an elaborate prank of some kind. Maybe we are all part of some kind of strange social experiment. There is no way they can be this sheltered.

Just to clarify: my disbelief doesn’t have much to do with the fact that they think google is so awesome. That level of sheltering is comprehensible to me based on my wackadoo cousins and their lifestyle. It’s the fact that they think, in 2018, that GOOGLE is this amazing technology to be shared with people. I know this is just another example of this kind of behavior - them “teaching us” about Aldi, e.g. - but for whatever reason, this particular incident is just... wow.

“Google It”????? Seriously Maxwell’s?? That’s what you tell your loyal readers??

i hate that response on Facebook when I’m asking my friends if they’ve been someplace or eaten at a certain restaurant. I know I can google for info. I’m looking for personal experiences from people I know. That’s what the readers want when they ask for a Smore’s cake recipe. They want to know exactly what site it’s from so they can make the exact same cake.

Maxwells- you are jerks.

I must say, this is timely information.  I was just thinking how handy it would be to type a question, hit enter, and get my answer instantly.  Then I thought to myself that it was too bad we don't already have something like that.  Come to find out, we do.  Thanks, Sarah.  Going to try it now.

I agree.  Their post came off as very condescending.

Such amazing technology!

I'm living in 3018. I often just yell "hey Siri!" and ask my question and a computer with a generic British accent answers me.

So how about this Steve. If a blog reader wants to know how their sons can buy a house debt free, or what’s the best way to schedule their homeschooling days maybe they should just google it.

That post is as brilliant as the one from Melanie where she tells us that if you don’t want to be disturbed during your homeschool lessons, you should place your phone face down so you don’t get distracted by calls/texts.

Hmmm... so are you saying that the Maxwells' followers no longer need titus2.com? They can just google how to chop lettuce with a pizza cutter or how to make depression worse on their own? And even find their books for free? Well, in that case... byyyyeeeee!!!!!!!

Only reason I know about Safe Search is because I've had to turn it off after not getting the pornographic image results I was looking for...

What does it look like when you search for Google? In Germany it looks like this:

Wow, they really hate when people ask them questions they don't feel like asking! This post is so passive aggressive, I doubt it was from Anna. Had to be Steve.

I'm off to google "where will I go when I die" to save the Maxwells the trouble of answering that for me.  Should be very informative.

I'll also take the Good Person Test so I don't have to face Lolly the Clown.

I had to go read this post for myself. Now I feel like I've lost a few brain cells.

It could be even worse than that.  Perhaps it is what "Annie" is telling Nathan's clients too.

Quote

Annie

CCITeam is pleased to include Annie. Annie handles help-desk services calls. Her cheerful, skilled assistance resolves most problems quickly and painlessly.

"Google it!"

Wow! Firefox BLOCKS pop-ups!!! Did you know??? Holy French Toast, Batman!

The level of stupidity and out-of-reality in the Maxwells' world has to be on par with old Soviet-era ALBANIA!

Who knew you could block pop-ups!! Did the ITonRamp teach that?????

See the comment to the Google post on their blog.

If the clients of the IT service have figured out that Annie and Anna are one and the same, they probably are a *bit* disappointed that Annie’s expertise and experience in the field includes Anna’s grand discovery of Google in 2018.

I'm starting to wonder whether their IT clients and nursing home ministry are the same group. Even then I'm guessing there's a few going "oh I know how to do it but those poor girls need an outlet, and it's nice to chat with them..."

We're all on a long-con episode of Punk'd, right?

Right?

They are slowly becoming a parody of themselves.

I love how she calls Nathan “my computer instructor,” lol.

They still have not corrected “Cyper” on their website. Wow.

I think it’s happened. I think the well has run dry with a lot of our OG fundies. I haven’t followed everyone as long as many of you. I have binge read a ton of threads and blogs. They can only repeat their ministry messages so many times over the years.

And in the case of the Maxwells, there’s only so much they can invent to tell the world. They want to post three times a week, but don’t want to share anything.

It is interesting, and completely different, that Chelsy wrote 10 blog entries about one day. I kind of believe she would have shared something about the honeymoon, if not for us. Whether it was her choice or a guided directive from Steve...

What an arrogant and condescending post.    My biggest pet peeve is when I ask a question and get a response in the form of a question like Crazy Eyed Nate did to Goofy Anna.  In my previous job my boss did that all the time to me.  It sends a message "I don't want to teach you, figure it out yourself".

Well, both were/are ruled by a tyrannical politburo of despots, so.... at least Albania has had a chance to progress, comrade.
