I think the Zambians have given up on deporting him; he's wily that way.  He does just enough (changing his mission statement to include actual Zambians, scrubbing the Truthymobile, sucking up to the right people) to stay in country.

A man wearing a skimpy, tight swimsuit looks the same whether it's called a Speedo or a budgie smuggler, but there's just something so funny about the nickname "budgie smuggler". The image it evokes makes me smirk.

I've finally caught up on almost three years of the Incredibly Inept Independently Immoral Imbecile.

I've zoomed through lies, births, failures, Vogon poetry, and the epic battles of Rey and Vader -- er, Rea and Shrader, each of them swinging sputtering light sabers of doctrinal differences, competitive grifting, and babyish pouting.

As ever, I thank all of the FJers on this thread for keeping up with Shrader's misadventures, mocking him with humor, worrying about his children, and expressing the outrage and dismay he inspires in us all.

For the last few threads, a "My Favorite Things" parody started forming in my mind, but I see Palimpsest did that very well already (I was thinking of "My Unfinished Things"). Some other tunes are calling to me, though.

In the meanwhile, have some pictures.

I think that Nick Park may have solved the mystery of where the chickens went:

Hmm, I would have thought that would be a better name for the one sided man thongs (For Australians use the American/English interpretation of thong rather than the footwear interpretation).  Even skimpier male swimwear (think one sided speedo) that to me appears to me to have a decent chance of falling...

Nothing really to report. He did preach at the funeral of his "friend" Pastor Friday Lovemore Mwale although I don't ever remember him being mentioned before. It made him happy that another pastor told him that he was preaching not to please men but to proclaim the bible since people have discouraged him in his ministry and have tried to destroy his testimony and ministry. He's also still printing tracts.
