Sure looks like a bra strap to my eyes. Makes me wonder why they didn't Photoshop it out? It looks like a somewhat professional photo. I would have thought removing a bra strap would be within the realm of someone who can smooth/filter the face like that. I thought Kelly was marketing her boys with the wet t-shirts. Now I'm wondering if the hint o'red bra strap is somehow the equivalent for Carlin...

That picture was taken on 'I love you day'.  Maybe that's a red modesty cami.  I had a bra strap photoshopped out of a picture taken by a cruise photographer. Really am surprised Kelly let that get by.

It is a professional photo --taken by Taryn Yeager who does all their white background photos. I would be pissed if a pro --that I am paying!-- took a picture with my strap showing, and posted it! I agree that I assume it could be photoshopped  out. There are a bunch of amateur photos of Carlin in that dress from I Wuv U Day, & I didn't notice a strap in any of them.  And yeah, you wonder if subconciously it isn't a hint of "va va voom boy--this fundy maiden wears read undies"

It looks like she's lying on her side for that photo.  I've had dresses with similar necklines and when standing up the bra strap doesn't show.

I'm surprised at the red bra strap and the colors underneath.  My guess is fundies would shop in the old lady section for their daughters' undergarmets. (Going by my own mother, underwear that wasn't white Hanes briefs was shocking.  To this day, she tells me that i have to grow up when it comes to my underwear).

There's been speculation on FJ that fundies only wear white undergarments I think this picture puts that to rest. When Jessa was shopping for her wedding gown it looked like she was wearing a lavender bra (not that I was trying to pay attention.)

Allie, called Miss Personality by  Alyssa, seems a spunky baby. In part I wish she's a little rebel but I'm afraid it'd mean some hard training. Probably not Pearls way, but still. 

Bradley seems a sweet, easy child, so maybe he'll have a soft upbringing, specially if Z&W limitate their family size. 

Erin seems so lovely  but at the dame time so fundie, that I'm not sure about her. I can see her training her children. Not extremely,but enough to make them keep sweet and first time obedient.

Call me a prude, but personally, I don't like to speculate about other people's underwear. If you ask me, there are bigger issues with the Batesesssess than whatever they wear beneath their "fashionably modest" clothes.

I love it too. I like that it's a funkier, almost Scandinavian-sounding take on Caroline. Plus, I love George Carlin, so if I have a daughter and name her Carlin, that's sort of the heathen atheist equivalent of Spurgeon.

I hope it is just Kelly not being able to see anything sexy in her own offspring but even I who don't think I am a prude felt it was almost pornographic. Sure, no one was naked but it felt as naked as they had been.

I think she knew, but has double standards for her kids. Girls cover up, boys get to show off. I left a comment on that post asking about modesty standards for the sons and she would never post it.

Underwear, well, I'm sure they buy whatever is cheapest. As they do a lot of their clothes shopping at thrift stores, well, how often do you find underwear there? I've heard it said(and seen a couple examples) that underwear at thrift stores is there because of death. They may find good deals there, or buy the packages at Walmart/Target and the like. Maybe they make it? But if they do, we'll never know. I hardly think underwear shopping gets filmed. JMO.
