Whose Pinterest is this? A Bates girl?

http://gb.pinterest.com/bizzybeebates/ is following Jill Duggar and Alyssa Bates. It's not Erin's. Could it be Michael's? Or is the username (bizzybeebates) just a coincidence? Judging by the colours (turquoise and pink) I would hazard a guess at Alyssa, but she already has a pinterest account, and why would she follow herself? Also, this bizzybee person is followed by Janny Nalon, who follows Jill Duggar and it appears that Jill was using that person's account.

 

Any Pinterest detectives out there who can figure it out?

I like that Alyssa is choosing 80's Barbielicious colors for her wedding! It shows she has some spunk. It's not like she can do much as far as dress styles due to modesty and budget constraints. I can't imagine too many other fundie weddings would have such a vibrant color scheme. This is probably her way of having fun and expressing herself.

I noticed a similar french braided ringlet hairdo on Alyssa and Jill's ages. I guess this is the Fundie wedding trend for the spring of 2014? Interesting that Erin also had a braid in her hair for her wedding. I thought there was something in the Gothard/ATI rulebook that outlawed braided hair?

There IS a passage in the Bible that condemns "broided" hair, which I believe is hair that is braided and adorned with flowers, ribbons, precious metals, jewels, etc. You would think that a people that believe the thigh is nakedness just because of a passage that talks about a "naked thigh" would avoid broiding their hair, but maybe not.

I'm not an expert in Biblical translation like these guys, so what do I know?

There's some stuff on that page that seems like the woman in question might already be married although there are pics of wedding gowns and engagement rings, too. Several of the gowns are from Latter Days Saints Brides. I don't know who Janny Nalon is though.

The Duggar girls have certainly done braids, I know we've seen Jill with some side braids a bunch of times. One long braid seems like the most modest hairstyle that there is to me, and certainly very pioneer style.
