Yes, inciting a wife to defy the authority of her husband is apparently a crime in Saudi Arabia. Even if the wife in question may be an abused woman.

The sad thing is this is what so many ultra religious fundies want. When they preach the whole be submissive and it will all work out, pray to god and your husband will treat you better, if he treats you badly it's because you are (insert character flaw here). So listen up fundies, even though you think you're so much better than the evil heathens, this is what you want to happen in the US.
