It's Girl Scout cookie time!

 

Funny story. Many years ago at my workplace, I had responsibility for running the morning status call for our entire large operations team. We had a big whiteboard divided into sections and people would write appropriate things in each section. One such section was for "Yesterday's accomplishments". Well, one of my coworkers came in right before the meeting and added "Post GSC list" and his initials. When I got to that section in the meeting, I asked him what that referenced. He announced proudly that he had posted the list for people to buy Girl Scout cookies from his daughter. Our VP was not amused, saying that if he wanted to count that as an accomplishment, the VP would have to reconsider his salary increase for the year. The employee quickly erased it from the whiteboard. Every years, when the cookies come out, I picture that employee's face.

That would be except all thin mints.  Before the pandemic the girls would set up shop at the entrances of some of the department stores and grocery stores and if I happened by I'd often be happy to buy some thin mints from them.  I let them keep the change too.
