You know they weren't. 1st, Joe doesn't have any $$ to do that and neither does Kendra. Plus Boob gets to keep a TIGHT reign on the 1st Duggar male to notleave and notcleave after Joshly.  So with with 6 marrieds only Jinger & Joy are "free" from King Jung Bob's reign. If only they own their own homes so they don't have the threat of losing housing over them if they displease daddy.

WOW, I know they tend to post bland and generic birthday messages about their kids, but this is one of the worst I've seen.  And no references to God??  How can that be? But at least they're thankful for him...

 I’m glad I wasn’t expected to record and publish a cringeworthy video wishing my husband of 4 months a happy birthday.  We’d been married 3 months when it was his birthday, and I just wished him a happy birthday in person.  Even now, 25 years later, I still do that.  No need for the world to see.

ETA: They used tannerite mixed with blue powder and John David (who the article says has extensive firearm experience) shot it from 200 yards away. They’re excited to make memories with their son and are praying God helps him grow to be faithful Christian.
