Jessa. No one is surprised you're with child again. Your maiden name is Duggar. All you do is think about which Fundie guy you're going to marry, and how many children you can pop out.  I hope Bin and Jessa get real jobs. The TLC money isn't going to last forever. Although, I bet this is going to be the main focus of season three of 'Boring Us'. I'm waiting for Jill, Anna and Jinger to get pregnant too, so we can have the baby bump pic. I hope Jessa doesn't post as many selfies this time. Especially since they landed on a porn website. Jess, you're not the first, or last person to get pregnant or give birth. This is going to be their excuse for not adopting.  They're never going to adopt.  I hope Jessa has a hospital birth this time. Please, Jessa. For the sake of  your child, go to the damn hospital. A death from child birth isn't going to raise the ratings for your awful show

Last time they both knew they were having a boy and kept it hush until he was born. Perhaps if they are having twins they could keep that hush until the babies are born and that would be a big surprise

So last week she is babbling on about adopting while already secretly three months pregnant. If I was a fan, I would be offended by this deception.  

Personally I find it annoying. Adoption is too serious a topic to abuse for getting attention. 

I just do not want to hear the word adoption from any of them again until the frigging proces is completed and the kid is ready for his first people cover.

Which of course I hope will never happen.

I feel badly for both Jill and Jinger.  Actually I'm a little worried about Jill....it's no secret there's a sister rivalry between she and this one.  What if she truly is having problems conceiving again?  Or the doctors told her to be careful and Derrick is making her stick to that?  Li'l sis is rubbing it alllll in her face that she's healthy and fertile and doing the Lawd's Werk.  I don't see Jill handling depression or anxiety well, years of shoving that down start to gnaw from the inside out--she'll be stealing more than pg tests from Mom's medicine cabinet!  Couldn't Jessa just pipe down and let Jinger have her damn moment?  I mean really?  What IS IT with these broads??

Really? I thought it was just speculation. I haven't been keeping up with the Duggars as much as I used to though.

This is kind of a BEC moment, just the other day Jessa was getting slammed for NOT telling people she was pregnant, now that she has told everyone they are pissed.  Jinger announced her engagement, what a month ago? She did give her the spot light for a while, but you can only hide a baby bump for so long.  I'm not seeing this as rubbing it in Jill's face. If Jill isn't pregnant, either by choice or by fertility issues, or by the fact that she was in a country swarming with the Zika virus, and NOT having a baby was the smartest things she could do.

@princessmahina  IRC during the Izzy announcement Ben leaned over and stage whispered to Jessa something to the effect of "they beat us again".  There's been other jabs over the years, from what I could tell, primarily from Jessa to Jill.  

 

Eta;   @allthegoodnamesrgone  I totally agree with it being smarter/safer for Jill not to attempt to conceive while she was out of country.  I don't know...for some reason I just see Jill breaking at some point.  Jessa is a naturally "in your face" kinda gal, while Jill has always struck me as a spoiled goody two-shoes.  Not to say there wouldn't be a measure of happiness in Jill for her sister, I just don't see it as an immediate thing or a genuine thing right away.  I guess Jessa just rubs me the wrong way because she seems extremely competitive and smug.

I'm already bracing myself for the next triple bump photo. Jessa, Jill... Jinger will probably sneak in on the tail end there. 

Also, WHAT IS IT with their obsession with emphasizing it might be multiples? I have never met a pregnant woman who talked about more than a singular baby, even prior to any official confirmation that the baby is a singleton.

I've never seen confirmation about a rivalry between any of these young women. That is purely speculation - which is fine, but let's not state it as fact.

And being excited about a pregnancy doesn't mean they are purposely rubbing it in Jill or anyone else's face or even trying to steal the spotlight somehow. To use personal examples:

My sister was ecstatic when her son was born - should I have been offended at her happiness after I miscarried a week later? Should I have been pissed off at my brother-in-law for announcing his engagement the week before we announced our pregnancy?

The answer to both is no. It would have been understandable to an extent and it would be understandable if Jill or Jinger were a bit upset or jealous over the news. But it's not a foregone conclusion and I don't think we should treat it as such.

This exactly. All of these young women are pretty much damned if they do and damned if they don't. If Jessa didn't announce then she's getting slammed. And when she did announce she's getting slammed again. Then you have people claiming Jill must be jealous and Jinger must be upset because Jessa has overshadowed them both. How about we focus on criticizing them for the shit we know they do or believe rather than feeding into unsubstantiated rumors?
