The Daily Fail is reporting that Anna is considering a divorce.

More than likely speculation again, but they've been quiet for a while. Anyway posting the link here for your perusal...

I didn't believe the article the minute it said Anna had NEW friends that have suggested she divorce Josh. Now we know she doesn't have any real friends and definitely not new friends that would suggest she get a divorce like regular heathens. Duggars don't have friends that aren't firm believers in the cult of Gothard. Anna doesn't spend time with anyone that isn't like-minded.

I don't think the article is true. We can always hope and wish she would divorce him but that will never happen.

Considering it's the Daily Fail, I will automatically assume it's not true.

Highly doubt Anna would ever consider divorce, however on the highly likely chance she is: I suppose she's finding that things did not go back to how they were before.  I feel for her and while Josh was doing time in Jesus Jail, you could see the pain in her eyes as she expressed hopes of getting back to where they were before once Josh was back home.  She was not yet fully realizing that things were not going to be the same, it would take time after Josh was back to come to that.  She probably has now,  She's in a tough spot.   She pretty much has to continue with a marriage with their trust issues not fixed because so far it seems that the Duggar Way of Fixing Things is to choose the options that don't fix it or make it worse.  But the poor woman has to be dying inside.

Inquisitor and The Daily Mail are just gossip sites. If Anna didn't leave Josh at the heights of the scandals, I doubt she will now. Not buying it for a second.

InTouch was the original source- and while I don't really trust them completely, they WERE the first to break the original Josh molestation scandals, and they were right.

That Daily Fail article mentions Anna might move closer to "her sister in Texas." Does Anna have a sister in Texas other than Priscilla? While I'm sure Pris loves her sister, I can't imagine TFDW allowing his family to have anything to do with a newly-divorced Anna.

That being said, the article on the whole struck me as better-researched than your average Daily Fail rumour piece. There was mention of Rebekah's divorce and comments from Daniel (and, while I don't know if he for sure said that, it fits into what I know of him). It's enough to give me a glimmer of hope that there might be something to it. Just a glimmer, though.

My thing with it is that it says that Anna suddenly has these new friends. How would she get them? Not to say that she's not allowed to make friends but I highly doubt that she would be associating with people who would say things like that. Also, where would she go and what would she do to support her four children? 

As I say this know that I wish that Anna were running, I just think that we will be built up about this and then we'll see pictures of Jinger's wedding with Anna expecting M5.

Yes, the article I read on msn linked back to "In Touch" as the source. However, I agree with the others who said that the New Friends had convinced her to divorce him. No way she has new friends. Not living with all the Duggars at the time. One thing did occur to me, however. I could actually see Anna filing for divorce if Josh were to continue with the internet porn and chatting up strippers etc., and she found out about it. Something like a second cell phone would do it.

I think her family would help her out if she did.

I totally agree with the bolded. If Anna found out that Josh was back to his old ways so soon, I could see a divorce. Though maybe it would be more time in Jesus camp for Josh...the friends thing sticks with me. I cannot see Anna getting to make new friends. Not ones that would help her step away from her beliefs.

Exactly.  If her own brother couldn't influence her to leave Josh then I don't see any 'new friends' being able to open her eyes.

Maybe Anna decided to seek out some support without Josh and the Duggar's knowledge. Maybe now that Josh is home she's realizing that the husband she thought she had doesn't exist, and the husband she's actually married to is a dud. 
I know it's not likely, but it would be great if Anna does break free.

Mmmm... I'd like to believe Anna would make choices for herself and her children but let's be real, she's most likely living at TTH, all the M'kids being watched by Jana, and she's probably getting heavy pressure from Mullet and Dim Wit. I have no hesitation in saying that I absolutely believe Dim Wit would exert financial and emotional pressure to protect the brand. 

That and I'll be damned if Anna is ever alone. No way would she be 'let out' to make new friends. She's being chaperoned.

I would think that Anna feels like she's courting again with the amount of chaperones that she has. Poor thing probably doesn't have a moment of privacy. It would be nice if she were but I can't see how she would manage it.

I'm inclined to agree with the consensus here, that the latest tabloid rumors are unlikely to be true. Even in the face of further betrayals by Josh, it's doubtful she'd leave, EXCEPT maybe in one possible scenario (and this is the reason for my post).

If JB and Michelle know of something else Josh has done (either in the past or recently) and have tried to hide it from Anna, I could see her leaving if she found out about it. Betrayal by him is one thing which she has sadly become accustomed to, but betrayal by the entire Duggar family (or at least her parents-in-law) would be quite another. I doubt filing divorce papers would be the first step she'd take in that case, but I could definitely see her taking the kids and moving to be with her family in order to leave such a situation.
