The money 'adult children' earn will feed Smuggar, Jim Bob and Michelle indirectly. If someone believes 18 year old Joy-Anna will not dutifully transfer the money from her own account (if she has one) to daddy's, they are quite naive.

I have never watched Duggars apart from the special in which they were building the house. After that, you get the idea of what it is going to be like and reading about them was enough. THIS is the reason! Leghumpers watch the show, they earn money. You 'hate-watch', they earn money. You have a guilty pleasure - they earn money. Hope the crypto-leghumpers are happy now that Duggars are back on TV and they are GRATEFUL for the 'hate' (i.e. attention).

"professional"  = a church elder or someone similar. another gothardite for sure. who helps josh rid himself of satan. in no way is he getting legit secular therapy. it'll just be a continuation of jesus jail.  if he gets any at all.  that message was for sure to appease the public.

I think they'll remain on the compound for some time, probably organise some 'papped' photos of J & A grocery shopping together maybe with a couple of the kids so they look like your average god fearing family blah blah blah.

I'd really like the ongoing counselling to not involve a bible and praying together.

Anna and the M kids have a tough road ahead.

I feel sorry for all of them.  I don't think Josh was a porn addict - I think he was a fairly normal 20 something who had never been allowed to have usually accepted outlets, and was curious as hell about what was out there.  He was married off to someone he barely knew, and basically told to breed.

Anna was in almost the same boat - married to a guy she knew damn all about and told to reproduce. Both of them have been denied agency in their own lives, and the truly sad thing is they are now bringing a third generation into this clusterfuck.

All I can say, is I don't like any of them, but my reaction is  - poor sods.

She must have another house.  Amy posted somewhere (maybe in an Instagram comment) that she and Dillon were moving into a house owned by Grnadma Mary, and that it was a fixer upper and they were going to do some work on it.

Does Jessa get the upgrade because she is playing by the rules and J/A get the little "cottage" because they failed at following the rules of JB's cult?

As I suggested earlier, I think that the Duggars  may have delayed his release so that the little ripple of curiosity it is causing will bring attention to the show.

The trick, as others have pointed out, is to keep Josh sufficiently out of the way that the family is not associated with his "shame" while also reaping the benefits of as much publicity as possible for the family from any interest in him or his adventures.

I'm watching Dateline: Real Life Mysteries on TLC right now and there have been around four commercials for Counting On. This is nuts. I get it, TLC! They're coming back!

I dont think Anna, smuggles, and the M'kids could fit in their original house.  Plus... there also has to be someone watching sir smuggles when Anna is out being a mother and smuggles is working staring at walls.

My guess is that someone is in the midwife house, and its possible that Jessa is moving to make room for another courting Duggar.  We also dont know the disposition of the house that smuggles bought and what the real deal with that is.

Isn't there a guest house?  And doesn't the Duggar LLC still own their old house?

I am guessing grandma Mary is the only person (besides JB and Michelle, of course) who will not be inconvenienced by any arrangements made.  She owns too much real estate in her own right, and JB wants to inherit.
