I picked the plane up briefly on Flightradar just now and they do seem to be heading in that direction. I tried to take a screenshot on the laptop but now can't find it and for the moment the flight has disappeared off the radar again! (If I work out where the screenshot saved I'll come back and edit it in, sorry for my incompetence!)

I agree, I am watching it on flightradar24 and it keeps going on and off the radar, I know literally nothing about planes, so I have no idea why that's happening. Maybe due to size of the plane?

But the plane ID number (or whatever its called- again, I know nothing about planes) says the destination is MKE :flightaware.com/live/flight/N68SY

 

I will admit, living in Rockford I have flown out of both O'hare, Rockford Airport, and Milwaukee. We are in distance of all three (Rockford airport has very limited flights, so O'hare is usually my main choice) but MKE isn't far.

Here's the screenshot! I like to wait until the plane has landed to grab the shot, and it took me a minute to realize the Cirrus was still in the air when I got this. I guess it goes to show how much wiggle room there really is with this information--you can see in red that the plane landed at 11:35, even though I took the picture at 9:32 (I'm 2 time zones west of them*) and the map and the time stamp on it shows the plane still in the air at 9:30 my time. But that's all hair splitting, I suppose. I'm sure there are more precise tools and data available to the people who need them.

Cirrus. Springdale to Milwaukee. 700 miles; 3 hours by plane, nearly 11 hours by car. 

I agree with posters who suggest it's not too far from Rockford or Oakbrook for them to land in Milwaukee, but it seems pretty silly for them to do that just to keep flight trackers off their trail. They could have other, better reasons, of course. Or they could be doing it for that silly reason, lol. I looked at Northwoods as a possible destination, too, but that's a good five hour drive from Milwaukee, and Northwoods boasts its very own landing strip, anyway.

I looked both in Milwaukee and Rockford for the "What's going on in the city today?" but nothing. I guess I highly doubt they would list "Fundie get together" on the City of Rockford's calendar though!

I don't think they're going to see Josh.  From Wisconsin, that would mean a 3-hour round trip drive plus renting a car.  Besides that, the reform school doesn't allow visits on weekdays.

DAMN!  That is a good theory!  That is what's going on in Milwaukee tonight!    

And it makes no sense to me to fly into Milwaukee to go to Rockford, anyway.  There are other airports (like, in Rockford!) and if they were trying to sneak in under the radar so to speak, they could have flown into Midway (Chicago).... or even one of the small airports in southern Wisconsin like Kenosha or Racine.

I would never go to Midway from Rockford for a flight, its 2 hours away..(Unless I got a mega deal with airfare) Much further then Milwaukee, and more traffic to deal with. Though there is a handy bus that you can take from either airports (Ohare/Midway) to Rockford.

I think Kenosha or Racine would make sense though, if even just for the size of the airport. Janesville too.

I think he must have been at the Republican thing.. looks like they haven't started heading back yet. It'll be interesting to see if they start heading back this morning or not.

They were probably having to get out before the weather changed.    We're expecting storms but more importantly, wind with 50 mph gusts for at least 24 hours.

I doubt Anna would leave either, and would he really care about anyone else visiting?   Strangely, I don't think so, unless they felt it would look bad if no one were to show up.    I always thought he'd be doing good to stay 60 days.  Plus,  it wouldn't be the first time the Duggars were treated differently, ie not required to complete the typical rehab course.     They're the Tom Cruise of Evangelicals.

lmao that's so cool. I wish the camera wasn't so jumpy--there's clearly someone in the back seat (with a manly haircut? I really wish it was more clear!) and Jim Bob some dumbass in the front seat opening the door while the plane is moving. Ass.
