Josh's secret Facebook page

Wow, the creep just got creepier. My concern now is about the real "Joe Smithson", his name in the Daily Mail article is Jonathan Blanklefein (sp?) where does he stand in all this? Maybe he could be a nice guy and just turn the other cheek to the fact that Joshie used his photo to live a secret life. But if he wanted to enact some kind of penalty on Joshie for using his photo he probably could. I'm not the person to know what the ramifications could be, my legalese is very basic. But someone with a law background could you please step in and give us some insight of what could be coming down the road for Josh because he used this guys' picture to live a double life? To me it almost feels like an identity theft of some sort.

I'm shocked no one snapped a picture of Josh at a strip club and sold it to the media. I know the strippers can't snitch on their customers because they would get terminated but is the audience allowed to use a phone while in the club? I read somewhere(maybe on FJ) that Jim Bob went with Josh one time? Which wouldn't surprise me.

I am not sure I'm doing the quote thing properly (new to posting, sorry!), but to answer the question regarding phones in the strip club, the answer is ABSOLUTELY NOT. Some assholes will try to do it anyway, and the bouncers will take their phone, delete the pictures or videos they took, or sometimes delete all of their pictures/videos.

Some clubs will sell Polaroid shots of the customer with the girl or girls of their choice, but the girls have to be ok with it.

The general rule in most clubs is to take the phone outside and make a call or text, but sometimes they are ok with people using their phones as long as they are facing down and it is obvious they are not using them for pics or videos. The customers do deserve privacy and the people working there should not have to worry about their kids or parents or anyone else finding out by being outed online.

My guess is that if Josh went to these places, he probably went when he wasn't as famous. When famous people come to the club, everyone working knows they are there. They have to show ID to get in, so unless he had a fake ID, he either wasn't famous or it would be known.

I know it's easier to keep track of things when you use the same user/pw, but knowing one slip could bring out ALL of the info, I'm not sure why he stuck with the same user/email for all of these accounts!

General stupidity? Inability to believe that anyone was smart enough to work out his passwords?

After my brother died a lot of money went missing from his bank account. It turned out that all his kids knew his PIN number, which was the year he was born. I'm not sure why he didn't realize that this is about as lame a password as it's possible to have. Yeah, the theft was one of the kids, who didn't realize that ATM machines have video cameras. GEEZE.

Whats the bet all the passwords to these various secret accounts are all exactly the same? God bless the person who figures out the magic password!!!

I wonder why he has not deleted it like he did his OKCupid account? :cray-cray:

facebook.com/joe.smithson.9028?fref=ts

He has deleted it now, because i can't find this profile today and yesterday I could.

So as other people are saying he probably had to remove it because someone told him to, but I also think that he maybe tried to keep the fake facebook page a secret so he would always have the option, but of course he can always go to a stripper club if he wants to so this theory doesnt make sense.

BTW If you search the picture he used for this profile via Google, the results would be the son of this american business executive named Lloyd Blankfein and the person in the picture Jonathan Blankfein. This information doesn't really add something, I just tought it was weird that he used this picture.

Also the information on this facebook page was something like, Just a normal dude living life!!! or something like that, with all these exclamation points.

I'm just amazed by this whole situation, can it even get worse?

ps I don't know if this link will work, I have never posted a link before, so excuse me if it doesnt work correct.

Hackers could crack that one much faster than AM. I don't see Josh using a particularly cryptic password.

I thought in the early days of Facebook that it was limited to college students from the Ivies. Also where would Josh have found the time and opportunity to set up a secret social media account? I guess the Duggar kids may not be as ignorant about the Internet as JB and Michelle think.

I joined Facebook in 2004 with in invite from one of my friends. I was a freshman in high school at the time.

Yes. At first it was limited to Harvard and gradually expanded to other unis. Pre-2006, you could only freely sign up if you were able to verify yourself as part of a university network. If I remember correctly, you had to use an official school email address to verify your network.

Some high schoolers and specific companies got access in 2005/early 2006ish before everyone else, but I am pretty sure it was invite only and only if your high school/company was included in their network. A homeschooler definitely wouldn't have been able to get an account.

Imagine how sad it must be for him to effectively kill off his toughguy, sexually adventurous, physically fit and somewhat attractive, MILF seeking alter ego. Now all he has is his sloppy, slightly greasy aging and disgraced self who is not even the golden boy any longer.

he does have the look of someone who stays up late and drinks a lot of alcohol. And we used to think it was just sugary starbucks/tater tot casserole diet.

I do find it weird he used his brother's nickname (Joseph - Joe). If that Twitter account of his is legit, then he used John also, another brother of his.

I think it's bizarre that even when lurking around for a hook up or looking at porn, he used a J-name.

I think he just picked a really common name, coincidence that it starts with a J as well. Like John/Jane Doe. If I remember it right those are the typical American names for random (unknown) persons.

If I would start a fake Facebook account, I would choose a totally common name as well. Makes it much more unlikely to be found. Something like Müller as last name or so. One of the most common last names in Germany.

one of the girls on his friends list is a stripper who works at the Sensation’s Gentlemen’s Club in Jacksonville. So I am assuming those rumours that he frequented strip clubs in the local area is true. I am feeling pretty tempted right now to facebook message these chicks that show up in his friends list picture. I wonder what stories they could tell???

The strip club is near Little Rock... Some brave person should call the number and ask about Josh!

6715 JOHN HARDIN DRIVE

JACKSONVILLE, AR 72076

501-982-0114

Near: LITTLE ROCK

Me, please! I'll be brave!!

Hello is that the strip club? Well, you don't know me, but I heard from someone on the internet that you are the strip club that Josh Duggar frequents? Can you tell me some stories please, so I can post them on the internet? Kthxbai!

FFS....

I'm with her - why do people want to touch the poop? I know it's not my business but I get so uncomfortable when I hear people wanting to contact people irl to get info.

And besides, don't you think someone at one of the tabloids might have thought of contacting those people? If they are going to talk it will be to a media outlook with a checkbook, not random curious strangers.

For the record, if you hover your cursor over the little clock on any posts on a facebook page, even post dated ones, it will tell you when the post was made. I believe on Josh's fake account it identified all posts as having been made in Jan 2014, though his pictures were uploaded in 2012.

Indeed. Why is it that some people are so in need of drama information that they want to cross over from following on the internet into getting involved IRL? It's beyond creepy and it's serious boundary-crossing.

ZOMG. Relax ya'll... I'm certainly not brave enough to call, or email these chicks, I recognise the boundary crossing. Don't act like you're so 'above' finding out more dirt on this prick. We'd all love to know more about this fucked up family if we could, why else do we troll these forums reading and posting about their ludicrous behaviour day in, day out!??
