I actually think he's taking less responsibility himself. He also removed references to internet pornography becoming a secret addiction, and that he was unfaithful to his wife.

I was unable to fall asleep last night (and not because of Joshie Madyson)

So I was actively looking for the raw data of the dox dump with some onion links (via tor)

The more I investigated it the more it seemed like a bad idea.

Yes, I would love to see some of the emails on the list, but the dang file is huge and extracting the raw data into an easy to read and search spreadsheet seems like a royal pain in the ass. (And a huge time suck; which I'm sure I could have justified by saying I'm going to write an article about it. But that's not the type of thing my editor expects from me; I'm type-cast unfortunately.

Most of the links, mirrors and magnets were already taken down (and some fraudulent ones & ones containing trojans were already up) by the time I got around to poking my stick at it. (Granted, I knew what hashs & signatures to look for, but still.I didn't want to be in someone's honeypot.) There were a few sites up where you could check for emails, and one was already served a C&D from AM (Or their parent company, can't remember.)

So, it's only a matter of time before some smart lesbian or some of teh gayz put the raw data into a fully functional, searchable spread sheet. I'm actually shocked that no journalist did this.. They are all going off of what each other has stated, or found out. And that drives me wild. I get sickened at the thought of no one is actually doing quality investigative journalism.

They are just expressing a (very likely true) opinion that he's not actually sorry he did it and is only "confessing" because he got caught.

actually, i'm glad it was edited, as before it seemed like he was shuffling the blame to a porn addiction. the part about being unfaithful could have been interpreted as him viewing porn. the edited version took that out.

His statement almost sounds like he is trying to say that the he was unfaithful to his wife by viewing pornography. I have a feeling there is much more to the story than that. My mom would read that and think that all he did was view scandalous photos of some harlots on Ashley Madison.

His admission is really kind of a sneaky way of skirting around the issue. I feel awful for Anna- she needs to collect her children and RUN! And if on April 1st someone would have told me everything that would come out about the Duggars this summer- I would have wondered what kind of drugs they were on.
