Not sure... Amy will deny they ever had it, but their friend Jonathan has a pic of Jessa sitting on the couch uploading pics. They kept then private.

My guess is the leghumpers emailed JimBob telling him about "fake" accounts and he found out. Of their instagramming was getting in the way if their duties

Do the older Duggars have cell phones? I know that Josh does and I assume JD, but how about the girls? I would have to think that if they did they must get online at times. I still think they are very aware the outside world, but play a lot to the TV show. No reason to rock the boat while the show is still on.

Amy has referenced text messages from Joy and posted a couple of photos Josiah sent her via iPhone.

I really think the kids, both the younger and older ones, are not as closely monitored as their parents would have us believe. "Nike!" is nothing but a shoe these days.

If JB follows his original plan and truly develops a compound (i.e., homes for his adult children and their families) the show would become much more interesting. There could be oodles of kids, a private school, a central laundry, central kitchen and dining hall (eachfamily would also have a "pretty kitchen" that never gers used, gardens, ball fields/courts, etc. It would be like a single-family, fundy kibbutz in Arkansas. Think Hutterite compound, but all Duggars. That would be much more interesting than what we see these days.

The Phelps family of the Westboro Baptist Church did this. One by one, the family bought up houses on the same block as their church. They knocked down all the fences and made all the backyards into one big yard. There's a daycare center on the premises, but no school-- they send their kids to public schools.

I second that. Jim Bob and Michelle can't be bothered to raise their children and are only concerned about whoring out their kids on TV for money :pull-hair:

If anything, though, at least they get to be more aware of the outside world and [maybe] that you can still be a Christian without all the hate and bigotry

Didn't one of the howlers send his phone through the commercial dishwasher to see if its waterproof case worked? So I think most of the kids have phones. (And that was probably the only time that dishwasher has been used.)

Oh yeah, maybe it was a underwater camera? I don't remember, just remember watching it and rolling my eyes that they would put any electronics through the commercial dishwasher. I am glad that the dishwasher was used that one time ... even if it was for an experiment. :)

Yeah, with this family, you gotta stay positive. But seriously, what an idea. And with no parents/ sister moms around, the camera team probably encouraged them, hoping for drama.

Maybe it's already been discussed, sorry if that's the case, but can't find it anywhere.

In this video around 1.26 a howler is shown rambling of the names of all his brothers and sisters and the list includes "Caleb".

I know Dim and M'uterus has been claiming 21 kids for a while, but this is the first time I've heard "Caleb" included in an official name-vomit:

Um, I'm not sure an early miscarriage is equal to being "born" into eternal rest, especially one that may or may not exist...

Completely off topic... How far away from the main road is the Duggar house? I always thought of it being secluded, but one of my friends parents live extremely close by them. I always joked that she should try to go to their church or something.... She sent me a picture she took of their house and it looked pretty close to the house.... No fences or anything???? She really didn't know anything about them since her parents moved there well was away at college.... But I keep asking everytime she goes home if shes met them!

That was actually taken some time ago. She cut about 6-8" off her hair (it now hits around her boobs) several months ago. I think it looks a ton better without the scraggly ends, and I'm glad she's bucking the trend and keeping it straight (I've only seen one picture where it's semi-curled - only the bottom).
