I don't usually need full pedi's with the callous shaving in the winter due to wearing shoes :D In the summer I'm in rafters so I get pretty thick feet. I too am far too frugal to spend that kind of money on toe paint. So I guess I'll plan my day around a pedi.

It's definitely an acquired taste to an extent. My first class I was certain I was going to die. I spent about half the class in child's pose or shavasana, but I started off with hot vinyasa. Bad idea. Hot/warm hatha is the way to start off, then work your way up. I don't bother with Bikram although I know people who swear by it.

I miss it. I'm waiting for a Groupon for a place near here to start up again and then volunteer for free yoga.

Yea Bikram is the only place in town for hot yoga. Our yoga center in town is nice and I've been happy with classes there over the years.

Don't know if hatha yoga does help sex stamina, but seriously who the hell would devote their life to it to that extent while also going out to parties, etc? The rest of his life didn't point in the direction of a serious yoga practitioner.

This is a horribly sad thing that has happened. I know his sister, and although the family is understandably devestated I think they would be very upset if this turned everyone against Libya in general rather than just the few evil people actually involved. Though the full story isn't yet known, it appears that several Libyans carried him to the nearest hospital when they found him.... not something that would be done if the entire country hated Americans.
