It fits with Anna saying she really didn't know Jana very well in the Is-it-a-birthday-or-an-anniversary/make-over episode.

I know it's not possible for Anna to get to know all of his siblings well, but they've been married for 4 years and Jana is Josh's oldest sister. Methinks Anna stays the hell away from the compound when they aren't filming. Between all of the germs and the wild behavior of the younger kids, any decent parent would avoid it as much as possible.

The siblings who actually know Josh well (Josiah on up) probably don't like him very much and I doubt he gives the little ones a thought.

Don't they also live in different towns? And between having a TV and dressing Mack in those dresses that show her thighs, even as she exits toddlerhood, they may be actively avoiding spending time with JB and Michelle. It's been said before, but someone's distancing himself from the cult as much as he can while still benefiting from the TLC money.

That's just mechanics. I can't see him grasping THEORY at all. A lot of my degree was comprehending/creating theory. I doubt just could explain Conservatism, Liberalism, the difference between ruling/governing, what power is, justice, etc. He'd sound like a complete fool that's just been fed lines. Granted, this is how every incoming college freshman sounds, but they grow outta that pretty fast.

Hell, he can't even grasp tagging the right candidate on social media, and he's on IG/Twitter all fucking day. That is just about the MOST introductory thing a political staffer can do.

I agree with you. I sure wouldn't want my kids in that environment. Mack and Michael probably don't interact with the clan all that much outside of filming.

Smugs was the golden child and I bet there's a lot of resentment towards him for that. Smugs probably couldn't name the younger ones anyway.

Re: alcohol sales on Sunday - the liquor stores close to the border may be pro-Sunday sales. I lived in Michiana and know tons of people who went to Michigan on Sundays to buy beer and liquor because Indiana can't sell on Sundays. Not a big deal for stores in the middle of the state, but those on the borders without a Sunday restriction are losing sales to neighbors. Otherwise I'd want Sunday limits to guarantee a day off.

I'm surprised to see that conservatives don't think Salvation Army is conservative enough... I know plenty of people who dislike SA for their discriminatory practices towards gay individuals but never heard of issues from right wingers before!

Most of us Canadians believe universal healthcare is a fundamental right, and not very many people want to do away with gay marriage. And, oh yeah, that huge recession caused by so-called conservative policies? Canada wasn't hit nearly as hard by it, because of all of our evil government regulations. Who woulda thunk it. We're happier, healthier, and better of economically than you are. So what's your point, exactly? Please go stick your head back up your ass where it belongs.

I dont see why people care what religion the president is. Theres seperation of church and state, which stops the president from giving his religion control of the country, and if he wanted to turn the country Muslim or ban Christianity, he would have done by now.

Although I guess they see tiny little things that dont make them feel important and special, like not being allowed to have their creation story as a scientific fact as its no better than all of the other religions creation stories, or not allowing them to make religious laws and ban things their religion doesnt like, or even acnowledge that other religions have the right to exist, as signs of persecution.

I think Anna stays far away from the Duggar home when they are not filming, too. Why would she subject herself to watching more children? Two little ones are probably a handful for a new mom. Also, she may want to keep the parenting of her children to just herself and Josh. I could see Michelle being a pushy MIL.Perhaps some the older daughters act like "know it alls". I'm just speculating...

lol I love how he thinks Canada is a liberal haven. Ever hear of Alberta, smugly? You'd fit in quite nicely there with Danielle Smith and the other Wildrose conservatives who hate gays and want to feed tainted meat to the homeless.
