RIP Lara Parker.. "Dark Shadows"

[Four is Enough]

Lara  Parker, Angelique of the 60s series Dark Shadows, died Oct. 12 at the age of 84. She had the  most hypnotic eyes. She once said she didn't know how to play Angelique until Dan Curtis, the producer, said that Angelique  was the best part to play because she could be BAD..

I had the privilege of meeting her at a Dark Shadows convention a few times, in Tarrytown New York.. She was as beautiful in her age as she was in her youth.

I remember dashing home from school every afternoon (I lived round the corner from my elementary school) to catch Dark Shadows at 4 o'clock. Then my best friend and I would get on the phone and discuss every plot twist and line of dialogue. Angelique was absolutely stunning, and her eyes were unlike any I'd ever seen before. Lara played many incarnations of Angelique during the run of the show; they were always going back and forth in time using the same actors in different roles.
