Catching up with Gary, he and Becky were in church Wednesday evening, and he got some more comments about smoked meat:

And, he's on the road again. It's unclear to me exactly what he did/is doing, but it sounds like he preached (I'd say "spoke" or "gave a eulogy," but let's face it - this is Gary) at a funeral yesterday and is preaching at this church today:

It seems the preaching gig was first, and the funeral is upcoming. Gary put up a private post yesterday - I don't know what that was.

The funeral is for Henry Kicinski, the pastor and violinist, who is, according to Gary, going Hoke:
