In Josh’s case, the victims were children in videos that have (unfortunately) been watched by more people than Josh.  I can’t imagine that these poor children or their parents care where every pervert that watched the videos is, whether he’s taken his meds, participated in therapy, etc.

My guess is that the victims won’t hear a thing unless as part of his therapy, or in an effort to show that he has rediscovered Jesus, Josh writes a letter or letters of apology which is forwarded to the victims.  I would be surprised if they hear anything else about individuals who watched the CSAM.

I’m wondering if Josh is even allowed visitors yet. It looks like the first little while in prison is orientation, etc and getting your visitors approved. Would Anna have the sense to check things out?

According to the BOP inmate locator Josh isn't in BOP custody.  So he must still be in county jail.

Trust me. All of those contacts can be established within a matter of hours or days. There is always someone the inmate/DOC person knows in common, and a friendship can be struck up. The inmates talk to each other, the COs talk to each other and the inmates.

A very social place is a prison.

Now, if JOSH can schmooze, is another question. If he goes in with that holier than thou attitude, it might be all she wrote for him.

No. Some of that would be violations of medical privacy and some of it would just be way more logistics work than any prison would actually want to keep up with. 

I guess they could request whatever records are public but there's no way to subscribe to updates. You can probably set up alerts for hearings or filings via an RSS feed but that's just the same way journalists do it. 

Edit, logistics: On this I mean prisons are like, notoriously bad at this. If the prison system my pen pal is in changes *anything* he has to tell me. They changed their mailing address recently and if I didn't know that and if his address notice got lost in the mail, nobody would have told me until I figured it out. When they changed their book rules, same thing. Updates not posted to website in a timely manner. Calling or contacting the prison is sometimes a dead end but not always. Most prisons didnt provide the tax paperwork for inmates to file for the covid stimulus checks. Activists had to mail those copies in. A mess.

She said “Road-tripping to visit my bestie,” so, no. Presumably she’s either off to visit Josh (and the database hasn’t been updated yet), or going to visit a female friend.

I know very little about federal prisons, but my mom's boyfriend has been in for a couple years now and she tells me some things. You can only visit prisoners on the weekends, and right now the facility where this guy is at is under covid lockdown, and expected to stay that way for a few more weeks, so no visitors at all. I'm not sure if the lockdown is nationwide or dependent upon each facility. 

I'm not positive this trip is about going to see Josh, based on a number of things. Or maybe the "visit" is more like a long-term stay to be near him, wherever he is.

I wondered this earlier. I could see Anna going to either location and waving at the bus as it passes her. Maybe she’s hoping to get a glimpse of him.

Without getting into details of the video's. They are 10+ years old and not from the usa. The victims are already adults and doing oke.  They do not even know who josh duggar is.

So, no news yet on where he is going, but nwahomepage.com has the news of transfer up with a video. I guess it is inside the jail? He's in a suit and has what looks like a fairly thick beard. The reddit people are all claiming he's put on loads of weight, but I don't see it myself.

I am licensed to work with sex offenders in Texas and keep getting job offers from Seagoville. Crazy to think that he would potentially be my client should I accept. 
 

(I won’t accept because I love my current job and only work with juveniles who commit sexual offenses. I’m not interested in working with adult SOs)

I definitely see it. It looks like his jacket won’t button. That said if he’s overeating instead of hurting others, I am okay with it. That way he’s only hurting himself.

I do wonder, what’s Josh’s take on transporting contraband in his anal cavity- okay since he’s being persecuted for loving Jesus or too close to gay sex?
