This needs to be standardized at the federal level - ugh

I think N.C. is going to go for Trump and I feel sick.

I think you're right. The lead is narrowing.

Which is interesting because CNN doesn't seem to think so. I'm curious as to their rationale.

I have no idea. Maybe the uncounted districts are very republican? Honestly I'm looking at the times because their graphics are nice looking. I don't actually know how any of this works.

NC’s early returns were all early voting. That’s why it keeps going down. NC saw huge numbers of people vote early.

Do they count mail in ballots at the same time in NC or are we getting nervous based on just one part of the votes that have been counted?

I see I cross posted with @Snarkasarus Rex and have my answer.

My nerves are shot. I just finished frosting a chocolate sheet cake, and now I'm thinking of sawing off a large hunk and calling that dinner.

I'm Canadian so I'm watching the live stream from CBC and they are not "calling" any states until at least 3 of the major American news outlets and the Associate Press are in agreement on a prediction.

Fuck. Ohio is narrowing too.

Yeah.  apparently early voting which was heavily Biden was in.

Per 538 if Trump takes Ohio he has 50% chance of winning EC.  I don't feel well.

Was checking the election news at my local paper, and if you were following the TX-2 House race, Dan Crenshaw has been reelected. He's a Trump-humping Republican.

To nobody's surprise, Dr. Ronny Jackson has won his House race in TX-13.

the betting sites have flipped from Biden to Trump - predicting 64+% Trump will win.  This can't happen.

Fuck. What the hell?

He is going to fucking win again. What is wrong with people?!

Even more than Trump this is the question.  It makes me scared of my fellow Americans.

I still don't understand. If PA is a key state and they don't count their mail-in ballots until tomorrow. then I don't want to hear them call it. Just because the news says it's called doesn't mean it's called if they are still tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of votes still waiting to be counted. It feels like fear mongering to me.

Jimmy Kimmel said it best

I'm feeling sick. Who are those fucking people? I swear I won't give any of the fundies we talk about instagram or blog clicks anymore. I'm hoping for a miracle.
