I think Anna should use the Huichol labor pan relief custom. This website says it's a hoax, but it's not the first time I've heard to it, and a gal can dream. Perhaps if she pulls the ropes hard enough, she'll pull them right off.

I think he'll be born August 13th, weighing 7lb 7oz, and his name will be William Zachary (because they are showing their lives have turned around after Joshley), Nathaniel Daniel (again, next chapter-ish) or Mason Matthew (to go with the M theme).

Man, the Josh scandals really didn't break Anna's child having pattern because it conveniently happened around Meredith's birth. No procrastination there...

If you're referring to Jill's dream of having a VBAC, that dream was crushed. She had another C section with Samuel yesterday, which I am assuming is right on time based on the fact that it was only announced she was due in July. It doesn't seem that having babies is her strong suit.

As for M5, my birthday is in late August (the 23), so I'm thinking Anna will be due around then. For some reason, I'm thinking day after, which would be August 24. I think the two most likely names would be Matthew or Mason. Matthew would probably be more likely since it's a Biblical name.

What concerns me: 

Josh is what 29 yrs old, maybe 30 ?  Due to having ass-hats for parents who denied him professional help  as a teen AND his being a complete narcissistic idiot ,  he lost his job at FRC and much more.   His job at FRC  was more than just a job,  it was a career in the public eye where he could be a self righteous special snowflake.

 The career was a break from the Duggar compound, a separation from his  ass-hat parents.  It was independence & exposure to various steams of conservative Christians and NON- Christian culture that he would not have been introduced to if he has stayed in Arkansas.   Not only did he lose that independence that the career afforded,   his status in the  TLC Duggar Family Circus as being the special snowflack 1st of 19 children is utterly diminished. 

The only thing he has left to hold onto from his former glory days  is his ability to make more M'kids.  That scares me, for the M-Kids sake and for Anna's sake.  Perhaps if he would have not fallen from grace and stayed in DC they may have stopped the Baby Train due to influence of the Christian DC community culture which for the most part accepts birth control  vs being back in Arkansas under his Quiver-full parents thumb. 

I am still waiting for the Smugs restoration/redemption tour to take place.  It would appear Smugs penance for his misdeeds  seems to be taking longer than I expected.  Maybe after the lawsuit Smugs will return to the public spotlight as the penitent son ?  Perhaps he is not so penitent and is back on the porn and looking for love in all the wrong places ?  Right now the only thing he has left  to boost his status in the circles he travels in  is the ability to produce more children.

I'm going to go with August 7; it's a full moon. Martin James. 8 lbs, 10 oz, 21".  Anna will have a home birth with Jill and an unnamed midwife in attendance. Anna's mom will be there (I hope). The M kids will be taken care of by Jana. Michelle will flit around and oooo and ahhh in her annoying voice. JimBob will get teary eyed when they tell him the baby is named after him. Josh will be there for the birth but will not be shown. He will celebrate by picking up Chick Fil-A for everyone (with his dad's cash card).

I suspect that Joshley hasn't done the penitent son tour thing yet because the family is still trying to keep the Dog and Pony show going via Counting On and he has to be kept not only out of the cameras' view but the family, especially his Dad, wants him keeping a low profile in general.  Now after the show is done or cancelled, maybe then I can see Joshley doing some "I have done wrong, but I have seen the light" tour or something like that. 

As far as kids, while I agree that producing more children might redeem him in their circles, given that Joshley didn't look to happy when No. 4 was announced, I am not sure how he is with No. 5.   I wouldn't be surprised if the pregnancy is what Anna wanted more than him.   She is the one who desperately wanted things to go back to they way they were before the Joshgates, so it seems plausible that having another baby would be part of regaining what was lost (in her mind).  

Personally I have to wonder what the hell Anna was thinking to decide to reproduce again, knowing what she knows as it's bringing another child into a situation that is in all likelihood, completely unresolved (meaning he will mess up again) but it's her decision.

Suspect your right about the penitent son tour. I thought TLC would jump on that band wagon, but perhaps their thinking the sheeple are not yet ready to see a newly minted Josh rise form the ashes of disgrace.  

My best guess into the mind of Smugs, is that deep down he is not thrilled about having more children, but he has to maintain the party line and that's knocking up the willing wife.  The only way he can improve his status in his crazy circle is to produce more off-spring.  

 Agreed, Anne is desperate for things to return to the way they were. She is chugging the Kool-Aid and will continue to pop out as many kids as humanly possible.  Smugs is more likely to separate from and divorce Anna, leave the cult and write the Duggar tell all.  If the right $$$ offer came along and he felt enough disrespect from Boob and the fam, I believe he would leave.  He would have money to support himself and his kids.  He would be free to bang as many willing woman as he wanted.

After the Joshgates, and TLC cancelled after the molestations came out, I was sort of surprised that they even agreed to Counting On because of public reaction and questions how much TLC possibly knew but seems that following Jill and Jessa's saga was deemed "safe" enough.  JB probably also pushed for some sort of continuation, he had to be have been in utter panic over the abrupt derailing of the family gravy train.   Don't think Josh will ever be "safe" enough for TLC to feature him in any way but hey, I thought TLC would consider the family to be kryptonite and never show them again, and guess what, they did.  So in that light, it's possible.

If Josh displays enough "penitence" maybe he would be allowed to be shown but I don't get the feeling he's walking around oozing penitence and how he's a changed man.   Seems he's just slogging along with the used car business.   Josh never had to work hard at anything and I don't think he's going to start with rebuilding his image.   Because it would be hard work and he seems totally adverse to that.
