I've been saying this could possibly happen for a long time, although I'm in deep shock that it has.  But somehow, I'm not surprised.  A week ago I yanked most of my IRA/401k money out of the stock market.  

America used to be a great country.  It's over now.  I'm glad I'm not very young, but I'm sorry for my kids, and future grandkids along with everyone else's.  What a fucking nightmare this is going to be.

I just don't know what to say. I really don't. What are people thinking? I mean, they can't be thinking. I honest to God think there is a heavy dose of sexism behind these votes. The U.S. claims to be progressive, yet a Trump presidency is a real possibility now. A guy that admits to sexual assaulting women, who feels what women are less than, out sources his own products, wants to deport innocent people, cheated people out of money through his university, casinos and businesses, he is accused of raping a 13 year old girl, treats vets like shit, treats immigrants like shit, and treats Muslims like shit could be our next president. What the fuck are people thinking?

He can probably do anything and no one would care. He probably could have shot someone on 5th Avenue and people still would have voted for him.

I was pushed into Medicaid because my income has been low recently (there is a reason, not a bad one). What happens if Trump is elected? I also have preexisting conditions...no way would I ever have been able to get insurance on the free market.

One of the lines of thought is that a lot of people wouldn't vote for a woman, but they weren't going to admit that to a pollster.
