I think Mary is pretty valuable to Cathy, so even if she isn't "controlled" in the sense the manboys are, I don't think she's any more likely to leave.  I think the best bet is that one of the younger sons hits his mid-20's, takes a look at his stay-at-home brothers who are pushing 50 and decides to make a move.
