I don't think it would have been too hard for Josh to go to strip clubs in Arkansas and not be noticed. He's only famous for being a member of a large family, not for anything he himself has done, and away from the eleventy million siblings and his parents it probably wasn't clear who he was. Plus, people are at strips clubs to watch the girls, not the patrons and there were probably plenty of other "good Christian husbands" present who also didn't want to be noticed. Josh is also a very average looking guy, so it's not like he'd really stand out in a crowd.

Hard to believe that TLC ran ads for Ashley Madison last year...I remember the outrage on their Facebook page.  Since there apparently is no bottom to how low TLC is willing to go, I would not be surprised if they incorporate Josh back in to the show....a repentant Josh, of course, and one willing to discuss his problems and how he overcame (ahem...not really believing it) them.  TLC knows it would be a ratings goldmine for them and so does Jim Bob.  They are quite capable of pretzel logic in order to get him back.  I hope I am wrong but I just have a gut feeling about it.  There is nothing that TLC and JB like better than a good story line.

While I think you are absolutely right there, it´s not like the Duggars have exactly excelled in the past re: choosing a solution that would work effectively from a long term perspective...  There is imo reason to assume that the mere fact that a certain course of action is obviously idiotic would be hardly sufficient to prevent a Duggar from doing it anyway.

Hey everyone, I am not caught up on this thread but just wanted to say here in good ol' Rockford we have a festival of lights during Christmas. I caught this little gem and took a picture of it. (This is the best one I could get with the lights shining on it, but they basically have a light display of a dove and say presented by RU ministries) I know it isn't much, but it made me       giggle. I made my fiancee stop traffic so we could try and get a picture of it. We go every year, and this is the first year I've seen them have a display.

I just want to say that I'm impressed how they were able to hide Josh for this long. I mean, it's been months and we still don't know for sure where he is. I have to admit, I didn't believe they could pull this off.

There is a "Year in Review" kinda show on right now (8:10 Arizona time) on ABC. They just had a blurb about the AM Scandal then went to a commercial. Maybe Joshly will make the cut on this show.....as the biggest sleaze of 2015.

Talking about AM being hacked.....Now on to Josh......Talking about the molestation and the public reaction to him as a hypocrite. Showing the TH's of the Jill and Jessa show....lol....."you have 19 apples, one is going to be bad" said one of the moderators.

And yes, the walk-in closet of skeletons was about Josh. Over now, he got about 3 minutes of time.

I was surprised at how much air time they gave him.  I was very upset at the People editor for calling the molestation "allegations" and not fact.  Glad he mad the dishonor role, but upset that he is relevant enough for ABC to inlcude in such depth.

Wouldn't they still be considered "allegations" because he hasn't/can't/won't be tried and convicted for his crimes?

He admitted to them, they're not allegations.  He "made bad choices," thats a fact.

He apologized for unspecified actions without detail, I feel like he could still deny certain aspects of the events if he wanted to because he never really explained things himself. Even his statement about being unfaithful was vaguely worded enough that people weren't sure if he was implying that viewing pornography was the infidelity in question. I think there's very little doubt that he did what his sisters described, but people have a little harder time knowing what to believe from Danica Dillon because her story has changed.

They probably don't really have to say allegations with the molestations because nobody there pressed charges against him. But with Danica they would probably have to say that for legal libel/slander reasons, since there has been no court decision.

Which part, if you don't mind me asking? IL-20 goes through (ish) Rockford, but also is west more and I don't usually go that way.

Josh's attorney has responded to the lawsuit and is attempting to get it moved to federal court.

So they haven't settled and Josh is beginning to incur substantial attorneys fees.

Removing to federal court is probably the correct thing.  There absolutely is diversity in residency of the parties and it exceeds 75k.  The question will be whether, once its in federal court, if it gets moved to arkansas.  Its been more than 10 years since I've read anything in a civil procedure book so maybe one of our other lawyers can chime in on that.

Most importantly, there is no photography permitted in federal court...
