Interesting development there, missegeno. But it does seem odd that Josh is "supposedly" in "rehab" at a place that would likely be limiting his access to the internet, let alone being able to have liaisons with said internet friends.

Could it be more likely that Josh agreed to an out-patient version of therapy, maybe using RU's services to a small, private degree, just to appease Daddy? But his catch is that he got to live in a small apartment, maybe by himself or with a friend (wasn't it upthread somewhere that someone theorized he has a gay friend??) while attending said out-patient services.

Or, could Josh have said, "Look, I just need to get this out of my system! Give me six months to just LIVE, then I will be ready to settle back down!" a la Most People's Normal Teen/YA Years.

My apologies. I may have misremembered, as I am having trouble coming up with records of toughguy88 having the same email address (if any of you know where to look, please share!). There has been some discussion of it on the forums, but I can't seem to find a definitive link.

That said, I am still not convinced it's not him. The profile describes a 27 year old male with the location listed as Bentonville, Arkansas and at the time that the news broke, I remember there being discussion of shared interests between the Ashley Madison account and the fetlife account, which no longer lists some of the overlap, including "bubblebath for two." The pics also look like ones I could see Joshley using. 

Though, I just noticed a note also that was written four months ago on the account stating "Hey just wanted to clarify a few things. I do live in Northwest Arkansas but I work in Kansas City. Might be moving to kc in the near future.

I don't recall any leads about him being in KC, so maybe that is a sign that it's not Joshley. Perhaps this means it is somebody else, or perhaps we should have been looking in KC all this time!

I'm not convinced it's him, simply because even though screwing around on his wife is A-OK to him, he seemed to be against drinking alcohol in his answers on OK Cupid.

It makes sense to me that he breaks the rules he finds the hardest to keep and manages to justify it to himself, but continues to uphold the ones he finds easier to abide by, and uses that to retain the self-image of a good godly man. The cognitive dissonance burns, but with a few mental gymnastics it enables him to proclaim himself an upstanding man without a shade of hesitation, and go on speaking engagements etc. without betraying the slightest guilt.

I don't necessarily think this is Josh because some of the details don't seem to match up, but speaking from experience it is almost impossible to keep someone completely off the internet if they are truly determined to find a way to get online. So many devices now are wifi enabled that often where there's a will, there's a way. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Josh has been secretly (even guiltily) finding a way to go online even while in rehab.

Then why hasn't he been seen anywhere? A person with a somewhat infamous reputation is going to get recognized by someone somewhere eventually. If does make me think, though, that if he is out and about if he's disguised somewhat. I wonder how he'd disguise himself. Beard and hat for sure, but what else?

I'm actually amazed that after 4 months we still don't know where Josh is and where (exactly) Anna and the kids are living.  It will be interesting to see if we get any info from the next special and if we will know when he comes back to AK.  I'd love to see that reunion on TV.

He is probably in Brazil on a mission to a tribe of Amazonians who practice free love and have regular orgies.  All the women want him because they think a white balding baby will be cute and because he has beads along with his bibles.  He may stay an extra half year because he is doing such good work-- he may even get to convert one person-- if they don't convert him first.

Probably the same disguise he used when he used to frequent strip clubs when he lived in Arkansa lol. Not sure if either rumor is true, I wouldn't be shocked if they were though.

Just out of curiosity, do you (or anyone else) know where that rumor originated? I've been trying to find the source for it, as well as the rumors of Jim Bob going to strip clubs, but I haven't been able to find anything. I know it's a rumor, and is likely baseless, but I'm just curious who said that or where it came from.

Well, the new TLC video shows her in a bedroom that looked a lot like the girls'  bedroom at TTH.  Or maybe it's just the furniture that looks like it?  Her clothes are right there as well.  I really do think she's been staying at the TTH!  After all, what place could be more convenient for her full "reprogramming" process?

Personally I've only heard about it on here and random forums where people claim to have friends that saw him both in AR and in DC at strip clubs. I don't know where it started and there's never been proof. Only "proof" I've seen is him being friends with AR strippers on his private facebook account.

That was definitely a Jsleigh bed in the clip. I hope she moved to the pool house when the Dillards cleared out. It's odd that nobody's in the cat house, but I guess it's too far away. As if 20 minutes away is too far.

On the whole going to strip clubs question, Well I would say that he DEFINITELY does go/went to strip clubs. Danica the porn star that is suing him stated clearly that is where she met with him. I doubt that she would make that detail up. She may have been lying but how much worse would where they really met have to be for her to lie about that.

 

So yeah, at least last year you could find him in the club..

I said it before, but there's no way in hell Anna has spent any time alone - beyond taking a piss, IF THAT - since the scandal broke. I fully believe Mullet and Jack Ass swept in, grabbed her and the kids, and probably started playing with her head to do "the right thing." 

I have no doubt that she's been sleeping in the girls' room, under someone's watch, every damned day.
