She really is adorbs. I also love J-Law and I really hope that the fame machine doesn't eat her up and spit her out because she is so talented and comes across as so cool in interviews. None of this K-Stew type whining, but of course time will tell how she handles it once the films come out.

Anyone buy the movie yet? My 11 year old and I are going to watch it tonight. My husband just went out to buy it. She is beyond excited!

I saw it for the first time last night and I really liked it. We bought the Best Buy collectors box set for my daughter who is obsessed with everything Hunger Games!

Eek. I've been throwing my hunger games books around the room raging at whoever decided to cast Sam Claflin instead of Garrett Hedlund for my dear Finnick. I'm also not too fond of Tony Shalhoub.

Cast List:

Jennifer Lawrence - Katniss Everdeen

Liam Hemsworth - Gale Hawthorne

Josh Hutcherson - Peeta Mellark

Sam Claflin - Finnick Odair (rumored)

Elizabeth Banks - Effie Trinket

Jena Malone - Johanna Mason

Stanley Tucci - Caeser Flickerman

Alan Ritchson - Gloss

Willow Shields - Primrose Everdeen

Woody Harrelson - Haymitch Abernathy

Amanda Plummer - Wiress

Philip Seymour Hoffman - Plutarch Heavensbee

Meta Golding - Enobaria

Tony Shalhoub - Beetee (rumored)

Lynn Cohen - Mags

Donald Sutherland - President Snow

Lenny Kravitz - Cinna

Toby Jones - Claudius Templesmith

Bruno Gunn - Brutus

Patrick St. Esprit - Romulus Thread

E. Roger Mitchell - Chaff

Maria Howell - Seeder

Stephanie Leigh Schlund - Cashmere

LOVED the books. The movie, not so much

Any reason why?

I thought the movie was very well done. The cornucopia scene at the start of the games really built up the tension well.

The dress "on fire" however, not so much.
