I have heard of a wealthy American convinced that Obama was going to turn this county into Nazi Germany (and how would that even WORK?) who proceeded to immigrate to a South American country for realsies after Obama was re-elected.

I thought the Pearls didn't have birth certs marriage licenses or social security cards for their kids. How can they get a passport. And didn't Michael pearl sometimes pause from beating the kids to drill them on how to escape the house during a goverment raid? I Want a pearls/Alexander dinner party /wife swap.

I do remember a thread here on FJ yuku about the Pearls and some fundies not having birth certificates or social security cards. I think maybe some of the Pearl kids have went through the processes to get delayed birth certificates and social security cards.

I tried to move to another country once. I wasn't paranoid, just wanted to step outside the American box.

Theres an even better idea that the Pearls could have had that guarantees they wont have their kids taken away. They could have stopped beating them.

Its a shame they didn't take those children away-imagine what better lives they could have had if they weren't raised by the Pearls.
