Raquelita...

I've never read any of the threads on Miss Raquel, since they were always way too long (obviously a lot of drama there).

Anyway, the pic just looked like some wanna-be uber lite BDSM pic. I just see bondage in the pic. Maybe she's trying to present being bound to Jesus or something, I don't know. Regardless, from all your comments, she sounds like she needs a therapist to save her more than she needs a Saviour.

Exactly what I thought before I got distracted by the penis ferret.

According to her latest picture, she has untied herself from the invisible tree and now is surrounded by magical, little balls of light. Oh, and if that story happened, her friend is a jerk. When somebody is sick you don't be all "how can you not be happy at every moment because Jesus died for you!!!"

On her fb page she says one of her cute romantic stories is true and one isn't. I'm going with the "last person he saw" one being the true one.

This is the first time I've taken the time to really look at her blog. For the love of God, can someone tell me why she calls herself an abolitionist? What the hell am I missing?

She's an abolitionists that would want to be on the side of the South during the Civil war. There really is no making sense with her.

But I think she calls herself that because she started a "charity" that makes pillow cases to give to girls who have escaped the sex trade. I don't think she she actually does much besides draw X on her, take pictures of her hand and then post those pictures to instagram.

This is completely OT - but Miss Raquel should be horrified to know that when I googled her name - the first 7 sites were porn sites. I felt it was my solemn duty to bring that to attention

I know if I escaped the sex trade, the first thing I'd be worried about was the linen for my pillow

Anti human trafficking, I think. It is quite the bing fundie cause, because, honestly, who can be against it? Our governor makes at least one or two big proclamations about it every year.

WTF do liberated sex slaves want with pillowcases? Of all the weird things to give them.......

Between the faux bondage to the invisible tree, her breathless admiration of submission to manly godly men, her penis ferret and her charity of interest being one to liberate those in sexual bondage, I'm suspecting Miss Raquel has sexually submissive leanings and is very sexually frustrated. The whole thing with a dude slipping her a note at a cafe, telling her he'd been stalking her and wanted to treat her like a princess, sounds like the start of a trashy S&M erotica novel.

I think abolitionist has also been used in pro-life circles, as in you support abolishing abortion. Not sure if that's what Raquel means, but I've certainly heard it mentioned before in that context.

Aaaaaaaaaand... she's back to bitching about her "friends"... I can't believe how mean her new blog post sounds.

There are far greater pains than losing a friend. Pain such as losing a child to the unforgiving claw of death. Pain such as seeing a loved one turn away from Christ. Pain such as having to let go of something dear and precious to you, to your happiness.

Watching a friend lose or change their religion is as painful as losing a child? :confusion-scratchheadyellow: I'd hate to get a condolence letter from her. "I'm sorry about the loss of your child. I know how much it hurts. My friend converted and it's been so hard. [GPOY]"

On her FB page is doing an ask me anything. Someone asked why she posts pictures on her instagram fishing for compliments all the time. She replies that she never does that. She hates when girls fish for compliments.

On Friday night I wrote a summary of Miss Raquel, but I wasn't exactly sober and I have no idea what the hell I did with it. I must have deleted it instead of sending it to Curious. I even included the penis ferret and hugging baby polar bears. I discovered that she has just recently deleted her first fictional "Life's Choices" from her blog.

I asked how she can call herself an abolitionist and declare that "In the War Between the States, I would be a Confederate.". I'd say the chances of my question getting answered are, uh, less than zero.

 Good question. I hope it at least makes her pause for a second and think about what she is saying. If she does answer it, it will probably be some crap about how the Civil War wasn't about slavery, it was about state's rights and that is what she is supporting.

she is a horrible friend!! in the latest post she says

I recently experienced a loss.  A disagreement caused for me to lose a close friend of mine.  We still talk every once in a while, but our relationship isn’t the same anymore.  And it never will be.  I was sad, yes.  Disappointed, greatly.  But through it all, I can honestly say that I’ve never felt God’s hand so gently surrounding me as I did while going through all of this.  I know, without a shadow of a doubt, that He only removed this person from my life because He has someone far greater, far more amazing planned to fill that spot.  And that gives me such joy to think about.

It takes two hands to clap, Raquel. Ever considered that maybe God removed YOU from her life so He could give her a less self-absorbed friend? Something to think about! :naughty:

What, she only has a few official places for friends? Seems she thinks of God a bit like this:

:popcorn2: That one I do want to read if she ever does answer it.

In one of the answers she says she is going to a modeling agency this summer. I wonder how that is going to work out for her. While she isn't unattractive, she doesn't appear to be model material.

Having read her bucket list (and the things not yet crossed off), I feel depressed-by-proxy.

ugh.......I hate it when people use the term "abolitionist" about THEMSELVES. miss racket might be the first I've seen do it, but it is now something I hate because of her. she had such a lofty opinion of herself. for a christian woman to describe herself in all the best possible ways, INCLUDING using that term...boy, narcissistic personality disorder, much?

Perhaps this was not just a friend, but boy she was interested in? She avoided attributing a sex to the friend and believes that God has someone for that spot. Sounds like a boy to me.
