I just wonder about how a webinar can get "filled up." Isn't the nature of teh interwebs that pretty much anybody can ring up a broadcast and listen?

I don't believe that a webinar can "fill up," and I agree that this is a ploy.

Robert Cialdini calls this the principle of scarcity, one of the "hobgoblins of the mind" that manipulators use to make sales. "For a limited time only" and "limited numbers available. Very effective ploy.
