Gutless Famy deletes FB account

She called it "liberating."

I can only imagine the (well-deserved) crap she got after the Today Show and caterwauling on the episode the other night. Can't take the heat? She'll never make it anywhere except the local roadhouse. And frrankly, that's about all the level of her "talent" merits.

Later, gator.

Amy wouldn't know the meaning of the word "liberated" if it spit in her face. It seems like the Duggars can't handle any real criticism. Smuggar blocked me because I happened to mention Gothard and Quiverfull on Twitter. They live in their shallow little Patriarchal bubble and can't handle being challenged. I guarantee that Amy deleted her Facebook because people weren't fawning over her "amazing" singing voice.

Famy has shown before that she can't handle criticism. She had a regular fb account that she deleted last summer. Some people only follow her on FB and twitter to either laugh at her or get extra info on the Duggars. Once 19KAC ends, she will lose a lot of twitter followers. I think Famy will eventually realize that she and her relatives aren't as popular as she thinks they are. I still laugh at some of shit she says on FB and twitter. I remember on twitter she posted something about how she couldn't understand how people are fans of Martha Stewart. Martha Stewart has her haters and her fans, but in the end Martha has more fans than all of the Duggars combined.

Famy made herself look like a joke when she made a huge deal about reaching 1,000 twitter followers. 1,000 followers is nothing compared to the amounts of followers that actors, actresses, athletes, writers, and more popular reality stars have.

Famy made a big deal over having 1000 twitter followers? My husband owns his own business and he has around 600 followers. So, he is not on the ebil TV and manages to have 600 followers just through his business.

I wonder if she thinks the Duggars are hot shit in Tontitown, or maybe they're treated (or act) like celebs there. I didn't see her having any bodyguard following her and her father around in NYC, like the people on Jersey Shore, who have police escorts and bodyguards following them everywhere they go. Famy, if you are reading this, get a life.

She probably does think they are hot shit in Tonitown. But some people who live in Northwest Arkansas have disliked the Duggars for a long time and a lot of the dislike goes back to Boob's politician days before TLC filmed the pre-series documentaries. I think some people probably treat the Duggars like celebs, while others don't. The Duggars got some additional haters after Michelle protested a convenience store's attempt to get a liquor license. The Duggars and Famy don't get enough interest to need bodyguards or police escorts. They are pretty much on the bottom of the reality show totem pole in terms of popularity. Famy hasn't realized that yet. She probably thinks her family members are just as famous as the Kardashians or the Jersey Shore cast. The Teen Mom girls have more popularity than the Duggars.

And they got more haters for the fact that Michelle has JUST has a micro preemie earlier that same week and didn't bother staying at the hospital with her.

In ' A Love that Multiplies" Michelle actually believes she helped stop the license but according to sources it was because the owner never showed up for the meeting. The 19 Kids FB Page only has 400K friends. "The Simpsons" have over 4 million. Hmmmmm

Ha, 1000 followers? My niece used to do a webshow, had over 5000, which for a YouTube webshow is pretty damn good. 1000 is nothing.

Famy is just full of herself and assumes the world knows every thing about her and her super awesome but not really, family. The only reason why she defends her mom's side of the family is because they're her "gateway" to the celebrity world. In reality, that's not the case but I'm sure in Famy's little mind, she truly believes it is.

Michelle definetely twists the truth around a lot. I remember hearing somewhere that the store she protested against eventually got a liquor license.

Really? She posted on Twitter, that she's deleting her personal FB account? Why does she have to announce it? She changed it from public to private last summer. So why would anyone else care?

I also wonder if she's going to delete her "fan" page. If not, she's a hypocrite.

Why do people make a big deal about deleting their twitter/facebook accounts? They act like its such a big sacrifice to give it up. Its only a sacrifice if you choose to let it rule your life. I have a facebook account. I check it once in the evening. I post maybe once a week. Its simply a way to stay connected with friends and family.

Exactly. Due to my health, I don't get out and about much, so I rely on FB to keep in touch with people. A lot of people now rely on FB to notify friends and family of major events and changes in their lives. It might be a little less personal, but it's a great way to dispense information quickly.

I'm on Facebook daily. It is a tool to keep in touch with friends and family and share information. I sometimes post often, sometimes not at all. I sometimes comment on friend's posts and sometimes not. My worth is not tied to it though; my friends are my friends with or without it, as is my family. It is not a popularity contest for the non-teenager set. If you turn it into that or judge yourself by the number of friends you have and what they say to you, then you're doing it wrong.

No doubt Famy judged her public worth by her public pages. When she didn't get the attention and praise she was looking for, she took her ball (web pages ) and went home. No surprise there.

Thanks for the heads up. I just checked my fb friends list, and by golly, I'm down a friend! I wonder how long it would have taken for me to notice if I hadn't been told here. I will miss her shots of revolving boyfriends though. S'long, Amy!

edited because I left the U ou of '"would", and I did not go to TSOTDRT. I did, in fact, go to P.S. 249 in Brooklyn, where Miss Levine taught me how to spell "would". Thanks, Miss Levine!
