But yeah, some lawyer at some point likely talked about a conflict of interest & the stable genius seized upon the word thinking he could add the issue to his litany of complaints about how he’s such a victim.

I've seen this happen elsewhere with self-important wealthy but not as smart as they think they are people. You'll explain something to them, they'll pick up on one word from your explanation, and start using it incorrectly like a weapon.

Me to former terrible boss, who was complaining about the photo quality in an ad we ran in a magazine: "Well the image is fine, I've checked it and we ran it elsewhere with no issues. It looks like the color range somehow got flattened a bit along the way somewhere making it look posterized." Boss screaming on the phone to the poor person at the magazine "You POSTERED IT!!!!!!"

I did a little Googling, Trump’s attorneys have twice moved for Merchan to recuse himself & both motions were denied, so that’s likely why Trump’s ranting about the ‘conflicted Judge.’

Trump's lawyer at the Supreme Court immunity hearings (or whatever they are called) seems to think that a president can assassinate political rivals and lead a coup with total immunity from prosecution.

Trump thinks he should have total immunity for all things ever. But I'm not sure he realizes "immunity from prosecution" and "immunity from all consequences" are not the same thing. He's managed the second for the most part, but he shouldn't have.

If anyone wants to hear Justices Sotomayor and Jackson question Trump's lawyer, Sauer (another great name, and he sounds like he has the same condition as RFK Jr.):

How anyone actually listening to what he says can even think there’s nothing wrong with him, is completely beyond me.

His fragile and bruised ego can't handle that he was made fun of-- again.

He was referred to as a six year old by Biden, and Colin Jost had this zinger:

[Trump] is currently spending his days farting himself awake during a porn star hush money trial [...]

I guess the comments about the lack of family support got to him and he made Eric come along today.

Yep it's largely the same with sovereign citizens.  They pick up terms from YouTube University School of Law or from gurus then try to wiggle out of the consequences of their actions when confronted.  Things like the the courts don't have jurisdiction over the individual or they're a foreign national (all while forgetting that even foreign nationals are obligated to follow our laws).

In other words, Eric drew the Short straw or couldn't come up with an excuse not to be there.

He just makes it all up.

And that's Fox asking him where those numbers are coming from. (rolling eyes)

I begin to lose hope for humanity if I start thinking about how many people believe such garbage just because Trump says it.

Isn't Venezuela run by drug lords? What a strange country to glom on to.

I wish I could remember now but somebody was quoting somebody presumable a republican supporter (was it b barr?) who said autocracies don't come from the right only the left....and I'm like...um...Iran??  I'm not even well versed in modern politics and that's a well known scenario. Not to mention the simple illogicalness of saying that somehow only one type of political party can be an autocracy.

Made the mistake of reading some comments on a CNN youtube video. The things trump supporters say are so out there and always seem to include the trump style school yard nicknames and at times lightly veiled threatening language. I can't ever get used to it. It's like listening to various relatives I have who are all southern baptist style conservative and there's this mindless zombie like adherence to certain statements and they get hostile if you question anything even in the most chill way....or even just say "yeah ok, I don't believe the same as you" to try to redirect a conversation....JESUS DIED FOR YOU!....and I'm just like...yeah um...ok...don't believe in jesus either but ok....ILL PRAY FOR YOU!
