Project 2025: The Plan To Create A Christian Nationalist Hellscape

We haven’t discussed this horrifying plan that will be implemented if TFG wins the election. I’ve only read parts of the plan, but this video touches on some major points.

I truly don’t want to live in the country if this becomes a reality.

That is what I love about the political forum. Having popped in and out of many forms this seems to be one that doesn't typically involve personal attacks. I think each forum has its own flavor, and I think those of us who are regular posters agree that sometimes the information that is being posted is so egregious that the only response is the angry response but we also know that we are not angry at the poster.

They have this on a website, in plain view. I honestly don't know if enough people will realise the danger - that they won't be the "right" colour/ethnicity/religion/gender/type of Christian - until far too late. That it will affect people they love. That they won't be immune.

I'm wondering if US democracy will make it to 250 years without another war.

Quote

The report’s release comes a week after Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts said on Steve Bannon’s “War Room” podcast that the country is in the midst of a “second American Revolution” that will be bloodless “if the left allows it to be.”

That's a rather bone chilling statement.

The Dems should be able to capitalize on the insanity of Project 2025.  Hammer the most salient and horrifying points every second of every day.  It's chilling.

Remember, Trump also wants to close the border. I know he has led many to believe that it's just going to be the southern border but I can see him closing the border to Canada as well, at least for women who can potentially be pregnant and could be going there to make their own choice about their pregnancy. It makes me sick when I think about the young women I know who are still menstruating and could potentially have a hazardous or unwanted pregnancy. I'm just curious, since they went to get rid of the affordable Care act, how they're going to legislate it so they know every woman's menstrual cycle and can determine if her period is late and if she's pregnant.

Will women in the United States have to prove a negative pregnancy test in order to leave the country, if Trump even allows us to travel?

TFG has been taped saying he thinks states should be allowed to track menstrual cycles.

OH HELL NO!!!

I'm still a little curious about how they're going to do this since they don't want women to have easily accessible healthcare. Will all women be required to have an app on their phone and input the date their period starts? Will they have to input each time they have sex! What about women who don't have a smartphone? How are they going to answer these invasive questions?

It would be a really good time to enter random data, and use cash to buy any necessary supplies.

If republicans enact some sort of fertility tracking and pregnancy testing - be assured - women will pay for that directly. No health care  needed. Women should be responsible for their woman's stuff. It's not the state's responsibility to fund it. only control it.

I imagine it would be disturbingly simple to set up local goon squads to monitor. You put out some cash incentives for people to report on other people. People have to take tests like the covid test to leave their state or for any travel. Get permission from male relatives that they're good to go....

I mean next why not let the male relative be in charge of their bank accounts and ownership or their cars and homes. If they have cars they might drive to other places and get abortions. It's a risk that's intolerable.

I'm quite glad I don't have to deal with that anymore. Since they don't want to pay for any health care I would have a really hard time complying with putting anything like that in the required app, or however they plan to collect the data. There are benefits to being a woman of a certain age.

None of this would surprise me. I'm really nervous as I am never married and I am much better with money than my brother who would be my headship is. Not only would I be furious that I can't visit my dearest friends who live in the next state over, but I would be really upset for my brother to bankrupt me since he'd be in charge of my funds.

I thank God I don't have to deal with that and that I don't have a daughter, but that doesn't mean it not only scares me but makes me angry as hell.
