It sounds like Josh confessing to the Holts had far more to do with the fact that they are the parents of the girl he was betrothed to, not that they were church leaders. Jim Bob said they needed to share something that was "relationship ending" and the only relationship that ended was Josh and the Holt girl (whose name I am specifically not writing fyi). The parents remained friends.

Thanks for the correction.  I haven’t listened to the podcast, but I read the transcript of Justin’s “Ask Me Anything” on Reddit, and in it he says that the young people all thought Josh’s confessions were about porn when they were really about molestation.  That is why I asserted that the molestation was the “sin in the camp.”  I see now there were two different sins.

Would the following seem like an accurate order of events?

1. Josh is caught/confesses to touching girls over clothes while they sleep. JB and M try to deal with it in house. (We don’t know when exactly this happened nor how often he was caught/confessed, approximate date 2003, though according to Bobye Josh later admitted he had started at least 2 years earlier.)

2. Josh is caught/confesses to touching the 5-year-old.  The Duggars are upset enough that they call the Holts in for help, but they do not disclose that the 5-year-old was touched under her clothes. 2003.

3. Josh is sent away to hard-labor-and-prayer.

4. When he returns, JB takes him to a friendly state trooper who lectures him and puts the case away. (Is this 2004 already?)  

5. Josh stays with the Holts and confesses more details about the molestation.  Then he gets caught watching porn and there is a brouhaha over the “sin in the camp” and Josh is sent home. 2005.

6. Josh gets his head shaved in time for the first(?) Too Many Kids and Counting special.

Does that sound right?

Not necessarily. She might be pumping like crazy at home or using formula for other reasons. I don’t think it’s been long enough for them to be trying for another baby by Gothard’s creepy standards given that she had a girl.

Yeah if by "Duggar boy" they mean one of the sons (do they have other Duggar relatives in the area, IDK much about that part...) then there are so few options for who that could be! Seems like it would be easy to eliminate them before they got to that point.

I think this special situation trumps Gothards creepy standards. Because we know how special Josh is. And the evil government is behind it anyway. That woman is  - I dont have the vocabulary to find the perfect word. So I resort back to STUPID!

Anna's outfit today is pumping/nursing friendly. Madyson is 5 weeks old and some women have had to return to work by then even though 6 weeks is the minimum recovery period. It's possible that she is still trying to maintain a supply even while at the trial, which is expected to be about a week.

I wonder which family member is taking care of Madyson and whether they come from the Duggar or Keller side.

Yes.  Also Josh was punished by being forced to dig a pond when he got his head shaved.

@quiversR4hunting Cheetah took it from Reddit and it's written the same way on there. I assumed "her daughter" was the correction to the type because otherwise you'd need to write "he has a daughter" to make it make sense. The person giving that update is in the courthouse and gave it on the recess, but hasn't chimed in on reddit with a clarification.

I also missed that Katey's dad and step-mom relocated to springdale about a year ago.

It's possible that the local person on Reddit doesn't know and meant to type "the daughter." The judge has said previously that due to COVID spacing and the size of the jury list, the public and media would be placed in an overflow room with audio, and possibly video, for the selection process. Would juror audio be broadcast or is it only broadcasting the lawyers and judge? They might not have video.

What?  She isn’t bringing Madyson and nursing her in the middle of the trial?  She is wasting some potential sympathy?

As for “hurry up and get pregnant,” it is definitely possible she will conceive six weeks to two months after giving birth, but it doesn’t seem like Anna’s usual pattern.  I hope she isn’t depriving the baby of breast milk in the hope of becoming fertile sooner.  

It could be that she is pumping a lot before court and during breaks.  I had a co-worker who did that— she went off to pump every three hours or so, and kept the milk in a little cooler.

The county my mother lives in uses drivers licenses and state ids to supplement the jury lists.

Most states pull from sources other than voter roles. I'd imagine doing so would cause some people not to register to vote, although I suppose that would be a happy thing in red states.

When my son was away at school, he was called to jury duty right around graduation.  I called the county explaining that his lease ended before the time he was supposed to report and was told "this is what happens when you vote". It was as if she was implying "those crazy college kids" don't like responsibility.Luckily, he wasn't called and he was able to come home on time.
