I'd like to hope the feds didn't discover this in 2019 and wait to get him away from children.  I'm thinking they may have discovered it recently while searching old computers cofiscated in the raid or someone in the Duggar orb may have discovered the file and turned him in.  Does anyone know off the top of their head when the raid happened?

I think Anna lives in ignorance she does not see the same reality we do. I don't think she knew explicitly, but I also don't think she would investigate further even if she had an inkling because she doesn't want to know.

I don't believe that.  They live the way they do because the world is so wicked. They talk about why.  They judge. They use Gothard books to learn how to handle oneself WHEN it happens.   They know.  She understands.

I could see Josh telling Anna, after the raid, he accidentally downloaded something he thought was work related but it was spam of child porn. Anna wants to believe the best of him and probably just needs a stupid reason to believe he is telling the truth. 

If she stays this is exactly what I’m expecting from her. It was a completely innocent mistake and it wasn’t intentional at all.

And part of it - and the family's problem - is denial.  Denial is an awful thing.  I'm not excusing it, but I've seen it before in families where a child has autism or a grandmother has dementia.  The family denies there's a problem even though others can see it.  The family may have gone into denial and convinced themselves that after the first time, Joshy was cured.  Anything after that, they just denied that it was happening.  Just my two cents and may not be right at all.

Is it true that Jim Bob and Michelle's home was searched, too, in 2019? I wonder what the whole story is here with that. Everyone thought that was due to some possible financial crimes.

In law school, I worked for a nonprofit as a victim's advocate. Some of the things adults do to children is sickening, and the incest cases hit me especially hard. I really hope his children are safe haven't been subjected to any abuse.

She is a grown ass woman and doesn’t need to be treated as a child who can’t grasp the concept of child porn. I am sure investigators have spoken to her about the severity of these crimes. If she can’t figure out assaulting children sexually is unforgivable then she doesn’t need custody of her own children. 
 

The days of sticking her head in the sand so she can keep her reality tv lifestyle are over. No one better defend her standing by her man after this or come up with excuses for her if she does.
