I'm guessing they don't have a similar poem applying the "die to self" theme to men?

Also, Scripturally incorrect. Especially the "you disappear" bit.

I feel like that whole poem would be much better applied to men. Considering how the Bible says men are to lay down their lives for their wives. Why is that always "symbolic" and the wife's "dying to self" literal?
