Pris & David 7: Wall to Wall Wallers

Hate me, but I love the name Dinah after reading The Red Tent.  I am fully aware that it is a work of fiction but it just grew on me.

I’m sorry for the littlest Pecan being a girl, but at least now Davia will have a playmate.

I am standing by my prior name suggestion:  Divine.  I found a biblical verse referencing God's divinity to back up my choice.

2 Peter 1:3

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue

But, omg, Divine? :laughing-rolling: How far do you think a fundy could make it life without knowing about the famous one? (probably pretty far) What a delightful accidental on purpose choice that would be!

I always thought Dorothea was lovely and musical but I'm a huge fan of traditional Italian names.

I predict a flowery name - Daisy, Dawn. Something feminine.

@VeryNikeSeamstress,  I was watching some drag videos (Christmas Queens and such) on Youtube yesterday and saw a song by Divine.  I love Divine who left us way too soon.

They posted a new blog update about the gender reveal party. Suzanna brought a different guy this time. I bet it bothers her parents that she has a new boyfriend again. Rebekah is still with her much older significant other. Are they married yet?

I like Devon as a female name (I guess it could be unisex), but it's too close to Demon or Devil.

i used to babysit for a family that had recently had their 5th baby.  they named him Devan (with an A); it was the first i'd heard that name, so one evening i asked one of the other kids how they spelled it.  i had guessed Devin, but was quickly corrected because Devin would have been too much like Devil.  even at the time, i thought to myself, "if that's such a big concern, then why choose the name in the first place?"

That’s weirdly funny. The Devan I know was chosen because the mother liked the way Evan was spelled and wanted Devan to be spelled like that.

A bit off topic, but Pricilla's/ Anna's younger brothers are kind of cute. I'm surprised we havn't seen a young fundie maiden on their arms.

I’m sure JillRod would love to push Nurie towards one of them. So Nurie could be in laws with A Duggar. The youngest, David, is like 20 I think? So he’s probably still a little young. But the other, Nathan, is in his early 20s so he might marry in the next few years.

I guess the tryndy version of Devon/Devan would be Devyn. Perhaps that could be a future female Waller spawn name option?

@catlady, Daisy is a great name for a chicken.  The only human Daisy I can think of offhand -and I didn't remember her until last night's episode of Downton Abbey- is Daisy, the kitchen maid at Downton.

My paternal grandfather's second wife was named Daisy. He was born in 1899. Not such an uncommon name among black people with southern roots.

Delta Dawn just makes me think of Monica singing it in Friends, when all the guys in the audience can see her boobs through her top.

I hate the name Dorcas. Dork-Ass... ok, this kid won’t go to public school, but it’s a horrible name nonetheless. I prefer Daisy or Danielle, or another traditional-type name like that.

How about Dandruff?

She could go by Dandy for short!

Somebody mentioned Danica earlier. I think giving their daughter the same name as the porn star that their philandering brother in law cheated with won't fly.

I’m not really a Josh apologist, but there was never any evidence that Josh had any relationship with Danica Dillon. I don’t think it’s fair to state it like a fact.

I like Damaris or Dove for the next Waller. I wish they would respond to the comments on their blog asking about the theme, but I guess in not clarifying they are reserving their right to change their minds. Maybe the next baby will be called Susie and they've just been messing with everyone.

My guess would be Deborah, but only because I read Unorthodox by Deborah Feldmann and I very much liked her character and strength.

After thinking about D names I've now got "Delta Dawn" going through my head.

This song reminds me of an episode of "Friends" when Monica gets up in a bar and sings this and once the spotlight is on her, Chandler realzes that she's wearing a see through shirt with no bra. All the guys are whistling and cheering. Hahaha love that show!

Seems from those pictures, almost everyone thought it was going to be a boy.

Funny that Anna and Josh are the only ones not wearing a pink and/or blue outfit.

She captioned that grandma Keller bought all the little girls matching dresses. And all the little boys match except Michael.

Josh and Anna probably made sure not to wear pink or blue since they were the only ones who knew the sex.

Have you read her sequel? It was good, too.

I don’t keep up with the Wallers but is the brother who offered Anna help after the whole Josh incidents there? He is the divorced one maybe?

Thanks
