The lace looks uncomfortable to me. Newborn skin is sensitive and they hate being messed with. I want to put them all in comfy clothes.

"Melania" is a lovely name. Too bad for the connotation. Still, way better than "Ritz" and some of the other awful names.

And while I have a total weakness for matching clothes (all my money goes to Boden), these baby clothes just slay me!

My kids are mostly in Mini Boden and Hannah Andersson now. We do some crewcuts and Tea Collection but my 11 year old aged out of Tea! I usually buy stuff on sale and resell for nearly what I paid!

Monsoon is my go-to when i want to spoil my little cousins. But it's more of a special occasion, wedding, christmas party sort of thing. Plus, they're old enough to know that those unicorn hats aren't edible.

I might have bought a kids coat for myself... their adult line starts at size 6 and it was a navy, non-frilly sorta style... don't judge :)

My kids weren't "status symbols", they were more like happy accidents (only 1 of the 3 was an on purpose baby). And there were times they were utter embarrassments. Imagine, teen aged, drama queen girl and back to school shopping. Then there were the ones who had to be convinced that clean and without holes was a good idea.

You had all that trouble because your kids know you’ll still love them, no matter how much they embarrass or frustrate you. They didn’t have to perform to earn crumbs.

I had a coworker whose cousin sold $15,000 hand ruched mulberry silk bassinets on Etsy that could be lovingly hand embroidered with the names of all baby's dearest relatives, but not washed. Why would you stick a pooping, spitting up baby in any of this stuff?

I definitely think there’s a distinct cultural group that is into her work besides just the conservative Pentecostals. My guess is Romnichals. I remember the cast of “My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding” often had children with names like that.
